This mod add ability to set key bindings for construction of favorite buildings of your choice. You can make own custom bindings as you like to any building included from mods!

Hi! My name is Anna and i made this mod for you guys to have better game experience and more fun! If you found it helpful, rate and favorite, so it will be easier for other players to find it :-)



Save your time & Speed Up Constructions!
Build Storage bins, ladders, tiles, wires and pipes and more with only one key pressed!
No need to go to building menu, seach for building and select it, just press a keyboard shortcut!

Try once and you would not want to live without it! :-)

Features
  • Remember last used materials for each building type
  • Mod do respect research tree: you cannot select through shortcuts not yet researched buildings
  • Mac friendly: All bindings with Ctrl == Command for Mac OS users
  • Custom bindings: now you can assign own hotkeys to favorite buildings
  • Support for all buildings, including buildings from mods
  • Ability to unbind all bindings and make your own preset

Modes
  • Normal mode: you select favorite building though shortcut listed below.
  • Cycle mode: you select favorite building by cycling though options bond to base key (i.e. 1,2,3 etc)
    This mode made for those who do not like to use keyboard modifiers like Shift or Ctrl.
    While this mod active (can be activated in options) you can instead cycle though favorite buildings bond to base shortcut, pressing it multiple times.
    For example we have 8 for liquid piping stuff: i can press 8 multiple times to cycle thought all options which is there: normal pipe, pipe bridge, insulated pipe, radian pipe and liquid vent.



Keyboard shortcuts (Normal Mode):
Those are default key bindings, you can customize them and make own preset, using mod settings!

To unbind:
Press "Delete" key on keyboard while you do binding modification, it will change binding to "None"

-----> Essential mods to subscribe <-----
Hightly recommended to subscribe to make your life a lot easer!
  • Mod Manager - control over your mods, see mods version, auto updated (even when Steam gives cached version), enable / disable all by one button, mods backups, abilty to open local mod folder (useful when mod have config in files) and much more!
  • Debug consoler (Windows only) -
    once activated it will show console window and display all information pushed to console by game or mods, including all errors they have!

-----> Troubleshooting <-----
  • If you have game error / crash and have other mods, disable those mods, restart the game (or it won't take any affect) and try again.
  • If something not working: make sure you use last version of mod, you can check mod version using my other mod Mod Manager and last version number you can find in comments for the mod or in my discord.
  • Clear mods cache (in my discord there is a guide how to do so).
  • If you still have issue, post it in bug tracker: https://github.com/O-n-y/oxy.mods


Usage permissions and limitations
Mod code or part of it not allowed to be modified or/and published under third-party name, fully or partly. Mod permitted and made to be used only in existing form in the game Oxygen Not Inluded for end users.

I face a similar issue as @MAKEMTO mentions, with pipes, air conducts and stairs, works fine for wires and tiles.

блок и провод работают, лестница/водопровод/вентиляция сразу вылет при нажатии, причем не важно какая цифра или комбинация - труба на 5 вылет при нажатии, труба на ctrl+3 вылет при нажатии. Если с вылетами DGSM установка похожего мода решила проблему, то аналога горячих клавиш на строения найти не смог (может вы как создатель модов в курсе есть ли работы похожие на вашу - ну просто пипец как не удобно без труб на клавише). Я уже и кэш сбрасывал, и файлы проверял, и менеджером обновлялся раза 83 - никак не получается одолеть вылеты.

+ Support for upcoming Frosty Planet DLC
+ The mod will be inactive if any of following tools currently active (to not interrupt priority switching via keyboard: harvest tool, mop tool, deconstruct tool, sweep tool) - tho the game itself looks like not supporting it for some of the tools, but maybe they will fix it someday.
