Compatible with Patch 9 and 10 beta

Now the battle last much longer and you have enough time to use your reserves to hold the line of troops and to maneuvering. Battle look much more realistic. Gameplay became more tactical. Caesar makes it very clear that some of the fights between cohorts could last about five hours. (Caes. BC., I, 45-47). In a five-hour battle of Ilerda Caesar's cohorts lost 70 men killed and 600 wounded. (Caes. BC., I, 46).

Significantly increased duration of the close combat. Reduced mele fatigue. Slightly Increased morale. All changes without altering original game balance. (changes in fatigue/morale stats here to compensate new combat duration)

I tested terachian hoplites vs terachian hoplites

They kill eachother a man per minute.....

but swords vs swords takes muuuch faster than spears.

please check this for balancing.

any ideas about how to alter naval boarding kill rate? i like extended combat, it's easy to fix in land battles with the block rate but i can't figure out naval battles. any ideas?

Hey why does this mod seem to remove the ability for pikemen to keep the enemy from closing and thus making pikes weak?
