Wrath of Sparta Crests, Sandals, and Shields

Description
This mod increases the visual differences between Greek units in the Wrath of Sparta campaign by giving all factions some unique variations to their crests and shields, making use of the crests and shield patterns from Rise of the Republic, and adding new ones.

I did not add any units, so this mod is purely an enhancement to the vanilla campaign. In addition to this, all units now wear sandals, from a model part that I added provided by Benjin. There might be a historical accuracy to soldiers fighting barefoot in this time period, but I never thought it looked good.

I really wanted to give each faction their own unique look without going overboard, and keeping it similar to the vanilla appearance. In particular I wanted to make the playable factions standout, especially Athens because they are the counterpart to Sparta. Some minor factions have been given a lot of attention as well though. For example I made the Ionian League have some minor similarities to the persians, Byzantion has a similar appearance to the Thracians, and the Akian League and Melos use a lot of Pylos helmets similar to the Spartans, because these two factions have a connection to Sparta/Laconia.

I have another mod that adds what I feel are some necessary units here, but I did not add them to this mod because the focus is just the vanilla units. Being subscribed to this mod in addition to the other mod will give those new units an improved appearance, similar to how units in this mod look.

Credits:

Benjin for the added sandals, marine headwear, and being an advisor.
Aguirre for the additional colored crests.
Celticus for an additional Linothorax added.

I hope you enjoy the mod, and let me know if you have comments or criticism.

Thank You,

Does this also edit units for Atheans?

They didnt fight barefoot in actually battles, that is just stupid. As a dare or single combat with certain rules, sure why not. But for a soldier to be barefoot is suicide. Especially when fighting in a phalanx without hobnailed boots, you slip, you die.

@Kizlsx, if you look at the screenshots, Argos has the other Greek patterns too. I didn't just give the factions their unique patterns.
@pizzaman6 not sure if you got my last comment but thats what i meant, for an example, argos only has their faction logo on the shield without the default Greek patterns

@robinw, Make sure the actual file is deleted from either your Rome 2 data folder or from the folder that has the workshop content. I don't know why other mods won't install properly, but this mod shouldn't have anything to do with that.

I'm trying to change the way the spartans look in the game for me, specifically in customs battle, cuz i hate the vanilla helmets for them. I downloaded this mod but saw only later thats its only for the WoS campaign, so i uninstalled it and tried a different mod. But now none of the other mods will install and this one still is, even though i've unsubscribed from it. Anyone know how i can fix this?
