T.A.P. or Towed Artillery Platform. This vessel is intended to be docked with my HEMTT as a trailer, towed into location, then undocked to provide long range fire.

Docking:
The docking pad for this vessel is located at the very front, where you would expect to find the tow point of a real world trailer. To dock with the HEMTT (or another similar vessel) approach from behind, using Switch View (default key V) and Look Around (default key Left Alt) to help you get it in line. From the cockpit of the TAP you should be able to see the arrows on the back of the HEMTT, use these to help you align the docking pad with the HEMTT (one of the pictures above shows the correct position). Once it is centred drive forward to connect the docking pad.

I tow it around with a vehicle that has its own minigun turrets, then deploy it separately in a defensive position

I like to have some Minigun Turrets in my Artillery pod. Since we are using manual aim, we are hyper focused on our target and Mini Turrets just give you all the comfort you need to not worry about any hostile fauna or ground troops.

I really like the RP factor in your designs - there is a place for this in EGS. This would be great for like-vs-like competition with factions, maybe following WW2 battleground rules/tactics. Very cool stuff!

There are at least 4 more in this series, but I'm not uploading any more until the weird bugs with HVs that arrived in the last update get fixed.
