Covenant Origins

Description
Have you ever thought that it takes too long to get the opportunity to sell your souls to eldritch horrors?

These origins allow you to start the game with any of the five shroud covenants. As a bonus, some of your leaders will become psychic, and the chance is higher if you also have the latent psionic trait.

If you take Covenant - End of the Cycle, you can delay the Reckoning by sacrificing planets. Each planet buys you two years, but also makes the End of the Cycle stronger.

The exiles get a few buffs to prolong their suffering.

The End of the Cycle will not be taken by AI empires, but the normal four might.

It worked when I tried it. No problems on my end

Is this mod r.i.p. or will you update it?

Thank youf or the mod. Suggestion, the origins should enable Latent Psionic.

not updated for current version, but the only thing that might not work is the name of randomly generated empires using these civics. everything else most likely works fine.

How's this looking in Overlord?

If I spawn a custom AI empire with the Covenant - The End Of The Cycle, will they use the planet sacrifice decision to delay the end or will it happen 50 years into the game invariably?

I will be updating this mod for 3.0. The legacy version has been created, and can be found here:

The sacrifice decision appears to work with Planetary Diversity for me, and I have no idea what is causing this issue. If anything was messing up the habitable_planet trigger you'd have way more problems than just this.

Doesn't seem to work with Planetary Diversity planet classes

Love the mod, thanks for creating it! I'd love to see it updated for 2.8!
