Description
Works with version 2.7.1

Do you find your habitat-only run lacking?
Have you started your Void Dwellers run and first thing you did was to find your closest non-murderhobo neighbour and make migration treaties?
Have you wondered why habitats are good for almost nothing?
Then this is the mod for you!

Features:
-Housing Buildings made available for habitats.
-Habitats now have the ability to build food districts after Voidborn.
-Habitats Affected by City District bonuses after Voidborn
(Including tech and Tradition Bonuses!)
-New Ascension Perk: Modular Engineering (Mutually Exclusive with Arcology Project) unlocking decisions to expand your habitats by up to 12(!) districts.
-Modular Engineering also gives you the ability to make districts producing Alloys and Consumer goods on Habitats via Decision.
-Added colony type: Agriculture Station (for Habitats)
-Updated Foundry and Factory Station types to include some bonuses for the habitat districts.
-Made Void Dwellers crying less when inhabiting Ring Worlds (they retain their bonuses)
-Gestalts now start with +5 base amenities, no longer your drones will revolt just because you colonized a habitat.

UI Overhaul is Highly Recommended otherwise you cannot see the extra districts.


NOT Achievement Compatible!
Also not compatible with mods that modify origin_events_1.txt, or habitats in general (most likely some stuff are not going to work properly in the second case)

Hello again! Did you ever make the version of this mod without the mutual exclusivity? If you don't want to do it though I understand and respect that, mind giving me some advice on how to edit it though?

Can we get a version of this mod where Modular Engineering isn't mutually exclusive with Arcology Project? Or at least know how to get both? I don't care much for balance but I really like how your mod treats habitats.

Satyros, I've been trying to make a new mod, but I've been having trouble finding the right place. You have looked at the habitats extensively within the Stellaris files. I'm wanting to make it so that the ascension perk voidborn grants +2 to habitat size. Any advice for the code?

Well I just straight up cheated the ascension perk because there was no way I was gonna wait till I had 4 AP slots.
