Description
USSF NR-1

A 1:1 scale replica submarine of the US Navy NR-1 vessel, the smallest nuclear submarine that has served in the USN. Part of the USSF series by Eskander.

Crew Size: 3-13, (At least 2 human crew is helpful)
Difficulty: Moderate to High (custom maneuvering mechanics, limited weapons)
Barotrauma Type: Deep Diver

Gameplay Description: A mid-size submarine of moderate complexity replicating the innovative, unique USN NR-1 with adaptions to be a viable vessel in-game. This vessel imitates some realistic mechanics of submarine operation at the time that are more complex than vanilla Barotrauma submarines but does not require significant human crew manning, similiar to the real vessel. Ideal vessel for small crews and suitable for roleplay.

Depth Change System: Floodable Main Ballast Tank + Vertical Thrusters
Propulsion System: Electric Motors, powered by batteries
Weapons: None; (mk2 retrofit variant has 1 fore railgun, 1 dorsal coilgun, 1 ventral coilgun, 1 electrical discharge coil on a blindspot)

HISTORY
The NR-1 stands out as a truly unique vessel that was willed into existence against all odds by ADM Rickover as a special project. The design defied convention in many ways, using innovative technologies to be one of the most advanced and capable deep diving vessels in history that was used for no small number of significant research and covert operations.

CREW ROLES
Highly Recommended to have 2+ human players; A few core functions cannot be performed by AI. Essential roles listed below. For full details on roles, refer here.

Officer of the Deck (OOD)(Captain): Drives the vessel from the helm and commands the operations of the submarine. Recommend familiarity with specifics of this vessel's maneuvering systems.

Engineering Officer of the Watch (EOOW)(Engineer): Operates EOOW console and regulates power plant/power grid. Read power/reactor notes.

Junior Officer of the Deck (JOOD)(Any role): Free hand to assist others.

SYSTEM FUNCTIONS
This submarine has custom systems that differ from vanilla Barotrauma behavior. Maneuvering has custom systems for depth change and power grid/power plant functions differently.

No classified information was used -- only public knowledge/Open Source information was used for this; machinery layout in the mod, particularly in the engine room and power plant, is an estimation as details of those spaces and many of the specifics of this vessel are still classified.

patch: Fixed some texture anomalies created from game patches over past year; made some decorative machines non-damageable now that this is a feature.

Overall, defined role as Deep Diver and set prices: 5.5k for mk1 (so it can be a starter ship), and 16k for mk2 due to it's capabilities. Also overhauled aesthetics due to texture changes in update. A few fixes/additions.

Please define the class of this sub or it can't be used in the campaign now :'(
Also please don't make it too expensive.
