No Auto Flatten

Placed buildings & areas no longer flatten the ground underneath. Doesn't affect Roads, Tunnel entrances and Quarries.


Allows you to preserve the natural terrain as much as possible during your construction endeavors. No more carving weird, steep, square-shaped slopes on the sides of mountains just because you built a house a bit too close to them.


- Load this mod above: Building Example (Apiary) and Specialized Stockpiles (if you have them) -- any conflicts with those mods are intended (or accounted for).

- In fact, there's built-in support for the above mods! You can use this mod without them, but why would you?

- Makes an interesting combo with my Placement Restrictions Relaxed mod (or its sister mod).


Dirt Roads, Stone Roads, Quarries, and the 1 tile in front of Tunnel entrances use a different method to flatten/change the terrain; a method I couldn't find an easy way around (I think it's related to their model/material). Also, there are some buildings that already preserve the terrain, like Mines and water buildings. So, this mod doesn't touch any of them.
