Caliber Conversion
This simple Modification replaces all of the Vanilla Weaponry Calibers with their real-life equivalent where applicable.

All Rifles have had their Mass adjusted accordingly and are compatible with Vanilla Units, Missions and all common Weapon Mods in regards to attachments for all rails, with a few minor exceptions. (See 1.0 Patchnotes for this and other known bugs)

In order to balance the Factions' armour and load capacity, i highly recommend using this together with my other mod, Gear Rebalance. Otherwise CSAT Units will be at a greater advantage due to the reduced caliber of most faction's primary weapon, while retaining their unrealistic heightened armour value.

Universal Ammo System Compatiblity Mod

9x19
This changes the calibers of various pistols and submachineguns.
The P99 ("P07") now fires 9x19mm 15Rnd Magazines.
The MP-443 ("Rook-40") now fires 9x19 18Rnd Magazines.
The Makarov PMM ("PM") now fires 9x18 10Rnd and 12 Rnd Magazines.
The CPW now fires 9x19 30Rnd stick magazines.
The Scorpion Evo 3 and MP5K now fire 9x19 30Rnd curved Magazines.

ACR
The "MX" family of rifles (MX, MXM, MX SW, MXC) now fires 5.56x45mm NATO. Due to a clipping issue with other magazines, only the original stickmagazines can be used. The 100rnd magazines are now deprecated and replaced with 30 round variants wherever they exist.

AK-12, AK-15 & RPK-16
Confusingly, the "AK-12" that is present in vanilla Arma 3 fires 7.62x39mm, which is actually the caliber used for the AK-15. To allow both sets of rifles alongside their variants (AK-1X, AK-1X GL, AK-1XK) to be used, the original instances have had their name changed and a seperate set of actual AK-12's firing 5.45x39mm has been created. Trust me, it was even more confusing to code.
Furthermore, the "RPK" now also uses 5.45x39mm, featuring a 96rnd drum magazine with compatibility to all other 5.45x39mm magazines.

Chiappa Rhino 60DS
A rather small edit. The Rhino ("Zubr") now fires 9x21mm 6Rnd Cylinders.

KH-2002
The "Katiba" family of rifles (Katiba, Katiba UGL, Katiba Carbine) now fires 5.56x45mm NATO. Due to a missing magazine proxy, only the original 20rnd magazine model is visible. This is only a graphical annoyance as all compatible magazines work as intended. The rifle now also features a 3 round burst.

MG5
The "Navid" now fires 7.62x51mm NATO. Due to a missing magazine proxy, only the original 130Rnd box magazine model is visible. This is only a graphical annoyance as all compatible magazines work as intended. The amount of ammo in the default box has been reduced to 120 rounds with mixed tracers. Furthermore a tracer box and a box without any tracers has been added.

MSBS Grot B
The "Promet" family of rifles (Promet, Promet MR, Promet GL, Promet SG) now fires 5.56x45mm NATO. The rifle now also features a 3 round burst.

Noreen "Bad News" ULR
Also known as the "MAR-10", a small edit now makes sure it only uses .338 LM Magazines.

QBU-88
The "CMR-76" now fires 5.8x42mm, just like the QBZ series of rifle already featured ingame. To provide more versatility, a tracer magazine has been added.

RFB
The "SDAR" now fires 7.62x5mm NATO. Due to a missing magazine proxy, only the original 20rnd magazine model is visible. This is only a graphical annoyance as all compatible magazines work as intended. The rifle now only features a single fire mode.

Stoner-99
The "Mk200" now fires 5.56x45mm NATO box magazines. Due to a missing magazine proxy, only the original 200rnd 6.5x39mm caseless magazine model is visible. This is only a graphical annoyance as all compatible magazines work as intended.

SVDK Magpul
The "Cyrus" had it's name changed to better reflect it's real-life counterpart. That's it (for now).

Great mod for my own solo duws_x 2035 campaign, very useful Spar 6.5mm able to pen any armour.

A little suggestion about this mod, I want to be compatible with:

Roa Attachments
Bettir Attachments
Modded Scopes (NIArms, RHS, etc.)

I think MX series not ACR.
Before the Contact DLC, I thought the MX is ACR or FN series.
But after that, the Promet rifle is the Bullup variants from MX series...

GM has multiple different 7.62 ammo-types. Wether or not they are more realistic than the vanilla ones I can't vouch for. The Base GM 7.62 derives from the vanilla 7.62 already. While it would be possible, I currently don't have the time for modding.

I have new question after finding out GM DLC (I don't own it) has "real world" 7.62 caliber ballistics. Would you be able to balance the vanilla ammo to use the SAME 7.62 ballistics as GM? So that would be the reference and all other ammo, 5.56, 9mm, 6.5mm would be weighted accordingly? I want to tear up a car for instance with an AK since that is what it can do in real life, not just ping ping ping off the doors or hoods.

The Rhino comes it various calibers, one of them being 9x21mm.

Shouldn't the Rhino 60DS fire .357 Magnum? I understand if you couldn't configure that ammunition into Arma but Berlioz probably wouldn't mind helping you with that either since he's very good with implementing realistic ballistics lol

I would agree with Semper and V. Berlioz. If we reduce the CSAT ARMOR value with Gear Rebalance, but use AAPM as well with UAS and this, the MX would still lose due to the AAPM plating. For the MX, I would keep it at 6.8 otherwise, we have to step up all default NATO units to 7.68 HK 417 to compensate.
