Description
For: Grand Campaign only
(But do not use this if you have a mod that changes it to be more than 1 turn per year (1TPY)).

This mod is intended to be used with the one turn per year (1TPY) Grand Campaign only, and it is compatible with pretty much every other mod as long as they too are 1TPY. This should NOT be used with the Imperator Augusta Campaign, Empire Divided nor in any of the localized smaller campaigns (like HatG, CiG, WoS, RotR) because they have more than one turn per year.

This mod simply gives generals 4x the experience (XP) they would normally receive after a battle. The reason for this change is because, personally I don't mind playing 1TPY campaigns, however, in such campaigns generals never accumulate enough XP to really become powerful or interesting, they get to about level 4 at best, then they die of old age five minutes later. At 4x experience, it is accomodating for the fact that in a 1TPY campaign each turn encompasses four seasons.

In other words, this mod essentially scales up the general XP accumulation so that it makes more sense with the time scale of 1TPY.

Also, this mod slightly increases the XP gain for agents to 1.5x their original level for the same reasons.

As far as I know, yes. CA hasn't touched Rome 2 since this mod was made, so why wouldn't it be.

Just an FYI to all...

For what ever reason, CA meddled in the recent update to Rome 2. In the Main menu, you will need to go to Options -> Mods, and activate the "Run user script mods" checkbox.

Not sure why they turned this off again, but I was +2 more turns into my campaign when I noticed all the script based changes were disabled, which prevents just about everything in my mods. :steamfacepalm:

Sorry, no the XP gain is standard, it cannot be separated into AI and user generals as far as I know.

Hi, quick question are you able to increase AI only XP gain on those tables? specifcally for Generals? (new to modding)

I have to take some time to evaluate the Emperor Edition and what changes will have to be made to the mod, and what modded stuff is irrelevant now. So, it will take some time before I can finish that evaluation - please be patient.
