The Odyssey Multipurpose Vessel

Description
Tired of big ships that melt your computer? Tired of small ships that lack detail and sink without drama? Are you looking for a ship that can do everything, and do it well? Well The Odyssey is the ship for you! This ship has a cruise speed of 21 kts and a top speed of 29-30 kts. Equipped with bow and stern thrusters, dual stabilization systems, and active sonar and radar, it can maneuver anywhere and in any conditions. Explore the depths with the GUPPY submersible by Lix, which can easily be loaded and unloaded using the deck crane. Extinguish fires and save grateful victims with the integrated fire house. Heading to the arctic? No worries, The Odyssey has plenty of fuel and central heating. Looking to make a nice profit from selling crude oil or jet fuel? You're in luck because The Odyssey has over 20,000 L of liquid cargo space. Maybe you like moving containers from one point to another. No problem, move the submersible into the watertight hangar and you have deck space and electric connectors for 2 containers. During those long trips you will be grateful for the multi-waypoint autopilot system which requires no oversight, freeing you up to enjoy the fully decorated interior.
This ship can do it all, and in my experience it is quite friendly to the CPU. I have a nice computer, but other similarly sized ships still tend to cause lag when I'm near land. The Odyssey doesn't. It is based off of the Volunteer Multipurpose Ship by Naoned & Kranakan, which I highly recommend checking out. This ship has some very unique and notable differences, however. First and foremost, The Odyssey is fun to sink. If you hit a rock or get attacked by a Meg or leave the wrong hatches open, you are going to have to really fight to keep her afloat. The interior is significantly different including a computer lab, engineering workshop, watertight hangar, engine control room, and staterooms. I also switched out Naoned & Kranakan's unmanned submersible (which was fantastic) for the manned GUPPY by Lix to allow a first person experience of the sea floor. The whole thing has been repainted down to the last detail, and the bridge design has been changed using the general architecture from =MeRk= Sebastiaz | BluFFeRRN and Pierre-Luc's creations. Additionally, some of the interior assets like the computers in the computer lab came from Dalva and GBDanny96's creations. I obtained permission from all these people before I uploaded this, so please do not report me.

To start:
just turn the ignition key on the bridge center console

Moving the sub into the hangar:
1. Open the hangar door
2. Go to the side of the Guppy submersible and disable the rail brakes
2. Use the interior control panel to move the sub towards the hangar (the track controls on the exterior panel dont work atm). It will stop at the edge of the door.
3. Attach the rope located near the lockers and desk to the front of the sub, and to the large winch above the door.
4. Activate the "Winch In" button
5. Quickly hit the "release connectors" to detach the sub from its sled.
6. Once the sub is fully forward and the line is tight. DISABLE THE WINCH IN BUTTON (if you don't and save the game, when you load back in the ship freaks out and starts spinning).
7. Activate the rail brakes button.

To move the sub out of the hangar It is just pretty much the reverse of the above steps, but be careful when letting line out on the winch. If the connectors are not active on the sled the sub can fall onto the deck if allowed to slide too far back. This isn't a big deal though, usually just activating the connectors is enough to snap the sub back onto the sled.

To sink:
Hit something or use one of the many access hatches on the lower decks and chambers.

A huge thank you to all the creators who allowed me to use their work in this ship, especially Naoned & Kranakan who created The Volunteer Multipurpose Ship which was a great foundation for me to build off of, and Lix who created the Guppy Submersible. This is my first workshop submission and there is no way I could have done the work they did on my own.
