Description
Sand and Stone introduces additional warm weather insulated build sets for players to explore their build imagination!

The initial 48 piece Tier 2 build set is named Murun, inspired by the Savage Wilds map's NPC city of Murun. Done in the Stygian build style seen in both Murun and Sepermeru. The build set offers three Foundation styles as well as two Windows and two Half-Walls. There are no Sloped Roof pieces as the Stygian style features flat roofs, often used for exterior living space as there is little rain or snow.

The Ardashir build set adds 91 new Tier 3 building pieces, inspired by the Savage Coast of Turan. The set includes multiple Foundation styles, Doors and Half-Walls. There are no Sloped Roof pieces however the Ardashir build set introduces Domed roofing!

Thank you so much for the reply.
I am a huge fan of your Kits (all of them). I could not build most of the things I build without them.
Please make more Ingenious things for us to build with.

Oh wow, I didn't realize this about the domes. it's amazing that you were exploiting the core building mechanics to such an impressive effect before the preferred mechanic even existed.

Re: Massive Domes:

Yes...it would require a larger than normal number of custom curvatures and there could never be a truly indefinitely expandable set where someone could have say ANY size of massive dome they wanted.

I was more suggesting just some snapping large domes for hexagonal arrangements of let's say Six and twenty four triangle hexagonal grids (this would be Two large domes only) and instead of trying to make many custom curved roof segments , maybe custom curved walls to accommodate the large single piece domes?

so sort of a reverse approach?

@Turbo-Laser Ninjadragon thanks for the feedback and suggestion. The domes in Ardashir were designed before there were curved walls in game. At that point there had to be a way to join the dome sections which had to fit within both square and wedge pieces by diameter. Meaning either separate slivers to fill the gaps or incorporate the base into the dome piece.

This does mean Ardashir domes are smaller than Desert Town or even my Fire and Ice mob domes which are designed to snap to curved walls which match their diameter (and don't really allow for four or six-section towers below.

It is a trade-off in capability. Have I considered making Ardashir dome pieces to fit to my Curved Walls? Yes (just haven't gotten to it...yet)

In terms of massive domes, I 100% get the appeal. However they rapidly either lose versatility or require LOTS of pieces with custom calculated curvatures to be able to maintain grid alignment and dome curvature.

I have one more suggestion...sorry for the double post.

Play Prince of Persia the forgotten sands (again if you already have). I am sure you will be inspired.

This is a beautiful building kit. it took a minute to work out how some of the pieces were intended to be used but all in all I have to say that this Kit fills a niche that many other kits can't EXACTLY fit.

Used together with Desert Town, there's a LOT that can be done.

I would still love to see these domes made separate from the base they sit on as that limits kit mixing, I'd also like to see Really massive domes (that's a request ;) ).

to me, this kit reminds me a lot of Prince of Persia. If there is ever to be an update or additions to this kit, I would love it see more building pieces added that make it full on Prince of Persia.

after that we just need the traps and we're ready for the dream purge!

thanks for the hard work, I've enjoyed many hours building with this!

HI Tricky Kitty

So glad you are enjoying the mod. I know what you are asking about, but never thought about the need for that particular piece. I would invite you to join my discord to post some pics of what you are trying to build that would need such a piece.

a VERY VERY beautiful mod. I am so happy I gave it a chance. Even though I wish there was a Adashir Ceiling Dome (flat) as a wedge too it Is all soooo pretty I just know I am gonna the mod either for a leisure garden or bath build, or both lol
