Good. Now I have also noted it. But only pair of Triari with the sword fight it. Can one make in such a way that a little bit more soldiers fight, besides, with the sword?

In a MOD also shoot Triari Pila what was also in reality. For example, with this MOD.

They will automatically switch based on the situation. Each individual soldier will change weapons based on the range of the target. You'll mostly see it when the unit gets charged from the flanks. Or when the units cohesion is broken say in an urban enviroment. But if they get attacked from the front or you order then to attack they will mostly use thrir spears. Which have better stats than the sword. For this mod I didn't want it to be a manual thing.

Thorax swordsmen doesn't throw their javelins when standing and fire-At-Will button activated.
