Torchlite II (roguelite pack)
7 items
Description
Overhauls Torchlight II's map system by transforming the campaign areas and end-game maps into tiered, scaling content from level 1 to 100. Unlike other mods, it organizes maps into 16 different tiers so that players experience a well-structured sense of progression rather than simply making every scroll in the game scale to the player's level.

Maps can be purchased from vendors as soon as you reach the Estherian Enclave (first town hub and second overall area in the game).

Read the full description on GitHub[github.com]. Created as part of the Torchlite II rogue-lite pack.

Thank you for all the positive comments on the Torchlite pack modules! I'm glad you're enjoying them in single-player and multi-player!

I'm aware that multiplayer AM doesn't work right-now and I know there is a solution for that but I haven't been able yet to figure it out or find anyone else who does despite asking many veterans.

BTW if you (or anyone) would like to help test the latest AM beta, drop by my Discord community!

Thank you tukkek for all the work and this fantastic mod. We couldnt play this in multiplayer, the game crashed in when somebody entered the game. But for single player its very nice. I like the tiered maps for a nice feeling of progression

As explained in the 2 short paragraphs of this mod's description that you can read in this page: the campaign has been transformed into a procedural rogue-lite map system. This is the mod.

There is no problem and there are no quests, by design. Maybe you installed this by accident?

UltraGreedier, thanks for mentioning the Human Enemies mod. I always wondered where the human types came from in a modpack that I've been using for a long time now. The author of the modpack deleted all of his Steam content some years ago, and I am the only person I know of who still has the modpack saved on my computer (and a backup location). I've slowly been trying to piece together which mods he must have used. The human enemies are, in fact, a lot of fun to play against and can be very challenging.

yoo first of all thanks for this awesome mod. i recently felt the torchlight itch again.
May i suggest you take a look at the human enemies mod and see if you can merge/incorporate it into your mod list? https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=199661313
these enemies cast abilities at you and can get quite dangerous even in a normal playthrough. <3 <3

Lucky me haha :GDEasy: count me as amazed too! I guess most of these mods don't conflict with AM but I'll write on the mods thread to try placing them on top, just to help people get started.

Thanks again, much appreciated!

Yes. I amaze myself sometimes. It seems I created a file containing lists of different mod loads that I've used in recent years. Here is the one I used for your Adventure Mode mod.

The Toy Collector
BAGMOD
Adventure mode
Variant Pets

Thanks for taking the time to confirm this HiFive! I'll add these two to the suggested-mods list too, if you don't mind!

While we're at it, do you remember how you had the load order? Someone asked me this recently and I couldn't recall off the top of my head (especially since I mostly use the Torchlite mods too).

I looked through my old comments here and I definitely used The Toy Collector with no problems and even used Variant Pets and Bagmod, as well. I bought the maps from the usual map vendor in the Mapworks and used the lectern next to the vendor to access them.
