Original Description:

In vanilla RimWorld, human-like pawns that are not part of your colony have a chance to instantly die when downed. Animals have a 50% chance to die when downed.

This chance changes depending on the storyteller, current colony population, and difficulty.

This mod gives you options to tailor the death-on-down chance to your preference.

This mod can be safely added to, or removed from, a saved game.

Torann updated the official mod already to 1.4, so I recommend using it instead of this.

Isn't the chance of death on downed now technically redundant with the storyteller slider? Not saying the other functions for animals and storyteller are but just for the pawns themselves or does this override it in another way?

Sup! I've been using this mod for a while and wanted to say Well Done! This has been a huge improvement to games overall for me. I just noticed something funny, but not impeding in any way. When setting the death chance, at 15% it just clacks continuously (if either are set at 15, and from what I can tell ONLY 15%). Pretty funny stuff, not sure why it does that. Works like a charm either way!

finally i can finally run my slave camp like a meat grinder of disposable assets. Seriously if you cant keep a population where one of them dying wont at all be an issue to your work load and have to keep them safe and well cared for then whats the point? You may as well just recruit them if for no other reason then ideological.
