The Dogfish is being heavily renovated! Coming soon!


The B-454 "Dogfish" class assault submarine is a light-weight vessel, designed as an escort craft for larger fleets. Loaded with powerful forward-facing armaments, dual coilgun belt-feeds and a belt-fed railgun, the "Dogfish" was heavily relied on during the initial clearing of dangerous caveways. Few remain intact today, since frequent combat made machining replacement parts too costly. The surviving models are now heavily renovated, providing a more sustainable habitat for its' crew.

==::Security Playbook::==

The weapon systems includes 3 Coilguns, 1 Railgun, 2 Electric Discharge Coils, and 1 Depth Charge Launcher.

The Coilguns are each linked to 2 separate ammunition feeds, which can be hot-swapped at the press of the button in Ammunitions. Each coilgun also comes with a toggle-able light, using the button located on the periscope.

The Railgun belt-feed is old and damaged, and no longer works. The belt can be used as storage however, providing an extra 10 rounds in nearby vicinity. The Railgun is activated via lever located at the forward-facing periscope, which will switch the periscope from the forward coilgun to the railgun.

The Depth Charge Launcher is located at the front of the ship. Intended use is luring in priority targets with sonar charges, bringing them into line-of-sight with the ship's railgun.

The Electric Discharge Coils are located in the back of the ship, and draw off the ship's coilgun supercapacitors.


==::Engineer's Manual::==

The Reactor has a max power output of 6000. No extra bells and whistles in the current rendition. It is recommended to use the mod Hazardous Reactors with this ship.

A ship-wide Red Alert emergency siren system has been installed, and can be activated from the Fabrication bay, from the Navigation terminal, and from any smoke detector.

The ship also has no centralized Oxygen Generator. Instead, it has localized vents that require occasional repair in order to provide oxygen.

There is a singular battery for the purpose of handling power spikes and powering the submarine while the reactor is offline. It has a max output of 1600 power.

This ship was designed for my crew to play with. Everyone gave input and everyone has their own space.
I tried to make this ship with balance in mind, wanting a rewarding experience. Most of the ship has manual mechanics for a reason. Having played this in a campaign and overcoming everything Europa has to offer, I'm very proud of this ship's performance. It's a ship made to feel like home.

its not a major problem. As mentioned the bug is in vanilla. All I really meant to do was bring it up to you, maybe get you to put a disclaimer at the top of that mod description or something.

I don't maintain my barotrauma stuff at the moment. There's a reason I disabled comments. You're welcome to fix it and reupload it though. It's either that or I unlist it. Sorry I couldn't be of more help.

notice for your utility turrets mod: there's a vanilla bug that it triggers revolving around language overrides. It's already been patched for the next version so far as I know, but figured I'd let you know

(also please reenable comments, ffs, makes bug reporting needlessly difficult)

I havent been playing barotrauma for a while. I'll post a screenshot of the progress of the reno, but don't expect anything. I'll either never finish it, or will finish it when my friend group rotates back to barotrauma.

omg this is really genius. so i understand now its that i can see all ammo boxes at once, but only shoot one half at the time.
after 2 years searching the workshop for campaign friendly subs, i still am coming back to the dogfish.The neat little 'stations' for each of the essential crewmembers fills my heart with joy everytime i put my engeneer to bed.
i appreciate the rusty, gritty style and colorscheme and all the tiems that are in the forefront really give a cool 3d effect. and there are not too many of#em, too.
