Description

The Alkurah System is intended as an alternative to the vanilla starsystem.
It's not a full scenario with an actual story, but rather something flexible that
can be whatever you want. You can install whatever mods you like and
change all of the world settings.

The main difference to the vanilla starsystem is of course that instead of the
vanilla planets this world uses modded planets that I made over the past two
years.

Additionally, the spawn ships have been changed and many economy stations
custom placed to ensure a somewhat decent distribution. There are six different
custom economy factions plus the space pirates.

This world already has a couple of mods installed. However, only the Alkurah modpack
is necessary for the world to function. You can remove everything else and add
whatever mod you like. You don't have to subscribe to these mods, they will be downloaded
automatically.

Pre-installed mods:
-Alkurah modpack (necessary, do not remove)
-The sun is not yellow (visual)
-Water mod (used for Teal and Teralis)
-Text HUD API (required for water mod)
-Modular Encounters System (Framework mod for those below)
-Wasteland Encounters V2 Continued (spawns abandoned shipwrecks)
-Abandoned Settlements (spawns abandoned outposts)


Technical issues multiplayer:
If you're setting up a dedicated server, it might warn you about economystations radius or smth, you can just ignore this.
The gas giant Luma seems to cause some trouble with joining games in multiplayer for some players, but doesn't seem to cause any problems on actual servers. I can't fix that bug sadly without ruining the planet.


Btw, Alkurah is a real star system. It's the name for ξ Cephei (Xi Cephei), a system of two binary stars and a more distant companion in the constellation of cepheus. It's around 100 lightyears away from earth. The name is arabian and refers to a horse marking called blaze.

So first of all, great Mod, great System. Looks great, works great 10/10 and i don't think i can ever play a map again without Luma to be honest, just beautiful. There is just one Question i would like to ask: This WIP part, is there anything known about it? Because to be honest, after playing the map I can't wait to see what else might be coming. :selike:

Ores are spawning fine on Trelan for me

This world is broken as Trelan doesn't spawn any ore

@DragonLoon - save the world, go to main menu and load (not continue) to edit the save. Make sure you have "User Scripts" enabled under the advanced tab.
Make sure "Experimental Features" is turned on as well.

I discovered that programmable blocks can not be used in this mod-pack at this time. not sure why, but when I place a PB and try to add a script to it, I have no option to edit it.

Any plans for a Real Solar Systems Alkurah reboot with some of your newer planets added (and dropping Teralis)?
This is my favorite "world" and I've used it for many playthroughs, yours are the best planets.

im playing this right now and everything works fine except that the ores didnt spawn on trelan cant tell if they didnt spawn any where else though
