Custom map of the Sirius Sector from the classic 2003 game Freelancer.

Featuring:
  • Over 200 hand-crafted systems, including many from beloved Freelancer mods like Discovery and Crossfire.

  • 28 prescripted nations.

    The Fifth House
    (Isolated until late game)

    The Fallen Sixth House; Hispania
    (Difficult, somewhat isolated start)

    (Isolated until late game)

    The Sirius Coalition
    (Isolated until late game)
    Coalition
    The Outlaws
    (Not recommended. Isolated starts with a single habitat.)

  • Expanding hyperlanes.
    New hyperlane connections will form periodically- allowing close-to-lore borders, development, periods of expansion, and a late-game encounter with the reclusive Nomads.

  • Historical Habitats/Stations.
    Significant stations (Those with a population of 1,000 or higher) will appear as habitats around the year of their construction.

  • Freelancer soundtrack

Some factions that are isolated until late game need improvement. Otherwise they are worthless and unplayable. In addition, it might be better if the relationships between factions are the same as those in the original game. Please make some changes. Please. Please. Please.

Really cool! I hope there will be more unique features that can be found in the game Freelancer, including the trade lanes and jumpgates? I mean we can make the jumpgate technology, among others, available as early as possible? In other words, establish a totally separate Freelancer tech tree. Also, is it possible to achieve the original diplomatic relationships in stellaris? Because the complexity of relations among each house is another element in Freelancer I love very much. I notice that every house is too aggressive and very soon one of them is destroyed.

I know this was last updated some months ago, but I wanted to thank you, AlexandrianCodex, for making this mod.
I enjoyed Freelancer in my youth, and having the chance to play in the same universe where I spent many hours many years ago was quite fun. I had some issues with non-canon species spawning around New York in asteroids, but after removing them with console commands, it was a lovely experience.
I also experienced some crashing around the year 2400, but for something that just one person developed, I am very impressed.

Just want to point out that there are only 26 prescripted nations. The hard set of 28 in the game settings causes 2 random empires to spawn.

Appreciate you bringing this into Stellaris. Freelancer brings back so great memories for me especially with Discovery. Question - I played as Rheinland and was maybe 100 years into it before I could really expand into other systems, there no was Liberty or Bretonia though? Is that intended?

It crashed for me around 2400, i was in late game but still no hyperlanes to big empires ( i played as Bretonia), gameplay feel sluggish currently, there is not much to do
