Real Lighting and Weather

Description
Real Lighting and Weather is an overhaul of lighting and weather on all A3 vanilla maps + some custom ones. .

The mod was originally developed for Second Wind total conversion mod but I decided it's time to share it with everyone.

Includes:
- Mediterrean setup for: Malden, Altis, Stratis, rof_Ammoulliani, Anizay.
- Eastern Setup for Livonia, Ruha.
- Pacific Setup for Tanoa, Archipelago, Isla Nueva, Colombia.
- Subtropic lighting and biome setup for Tembelan.
- Partial setup for: Mull of Kyntire. May also work on some other maps but won't fit them that well without fine tuning.
- Chernarus 2020 (crash reports when in fly mode, not to be fixed).

2 Weather Effects (don't impact perfomance):
- Rendering effect which simulates rain at distance and removes "sky stripes glitch" during foggy weather (known as DirectX bug).
- Raindrops on surfaces when it's raining.

Features:
- Detailed sun, moon and ambient illumination of terrain depending on the weather and time of day.
- Sun and Moon illumination changes depending on weither clouds cover sun/moon or not.
- Brighter nights. Adjustable via moon phase and fog density.
- Dark greyish fog in overcast and at night.
- Advanced Skybox setup
- Custom moon object and halo setup.
- Customized rain and lightnings.
- Custom clutter (grass and debris) on some terrains.

Hello, I would like to port this mod on other maps. Can you tell what are the important parameters that should be applied to other maps ? Because that would save me a lot of time. Thx.

If I find time to update the mod I will remove/improve film grain to have it unnoticable along with other lighting improvements.used in my other mod

the mod is perfect for the day, but the night with a full moon is not so cool, as it is very very bright, could you make a version with the vanilla night? Or if you can tell me which one to change?
The skyboxes seem very faint in clearer weather. It would be nice if they didn't only appear at overcast, where they can't really be looked at anyway

Maybe have the skyboxes be much more visible at about +20% overcast

will this decrease performance when playing singleplayer? or is it a simple change with the normal ARMA lighting like making nights darker and sunrise happen at 7 AM instead of 5 AM
