HMES Ransbel

Hey everyone, here's the tenth airship of this release, the escort Ransbel. You may notice some similarities to another of my escots, Nineveh. Ransbel is a refitted version of Nineveh, where the main APS have been centered and angled armor plates added to the sides, in the style of Steadfast. She also has more torpedoes (also now centered) and she's four meters longer with a double funnel rather than a single one. She is still even-centered.

Like Nineveh, Ransbel was designed as a fleet support escort, especially for helping in AA. She features two amidships 200mm flak cannons and four simple cannons, as well as two pentuple torpedo tubes. For the respectable price tag of 81k, I'd call it pretty good. The torps can make a mess of ships while the flak downs any planes that get close. Oh, and did I forget to mention that the flak cannons are CIWS, too? Good luck hitting her with CRAMs. Should be a nice easy escort to add to any fleet if you need a bit more oomph.

Nineveh also features a catapult, and you may notice that just behind the bridge is a horizontal bar over the stairs to the main deck. While she doesn't carry a plane in FtD, this class of ship is designed to carry either an unpowered glider (or rotor kite such as Germany's Focke-Achgelis Fa 330, a gyro kite that would be towed by U-boats to increase their spotting range) or a regular powered fighter or spotter plane. If the airship carried a kite, it would be tethered to that aforementioned bar and could be set up on the aft aircraft handling building (L-shaped tower upon which the catuplt is mounted) and allowed to rise as the airship flew into the wind. Just a cool detail I thought I'd include. I might add a docked plane at some point to fulfil this purpose, but planes really aren't my forte. If you can build some cool really detailed planes hit me up.

Basically for 15k more materials, you get quite a bit more armor, four extra torps (like 2/3rds of the extra cost tbh), and the whole design imo looks a good bit better.
