Instructions on hooking up trailers;
Crtl+4 will show you a buncha tire icons.
The 3 on the left LOWER your suspension and the 3 on the right RAISE it.
Just like in real life you gotta drop your suspension to get the 5th Wheel (rotor base) under the Kingpin (rotor head) Back up into position under the trailer and then raise your suspension all the way backup.
Finally hit the Rotor icon to ATTACH. Don't forget to raise your landing gear jack stands.

Details on the Trailer Kingpin;
The Trailers Kingpin are in three (3) parts; a Rotor, a Hinge plus a rotor head. Just keep them both OFF.
A Rotor Head hangs off the Hinge, this is the actual Kingpin like real life and connects to the 5th Wheel Rotor Base on the tractor, joining the rotor head to its base.

Tips for hauling;
Depending on what you're hauling you may want to adjust the Lower and Upper limits on the KINGPIN Rotor part of the TRAILER. The Kingpin Rotor sits at 90 degrees.
If you edit its Lower and Upper limits to, say 88 & 92 then the trailer now has 2 degrees of roll before the Kingpin Rotor pulls on the Tractor for stability.
88 & 92 are useful for flatter, level terrain or a scenario where you don't want the trailer to sway for top-heavy loads like vehicles on the flatbed.

Features
1. Has an Advanced Rotor for the Fifth (5th) Wheel. If you break it just build another one and turn it OFF.

2. 12 batteries so the truck can loiter and recharge mining vehicles at work sites.
2a. Don't charge these with the H2 engines that will get you nowhere fast.

3. 10 Hydrogen Engines as backup power with fuel storage for approx. 2 extra refuels. If your hauling Ice then your range is indefinite.
3a. Refueling your tanks from Ice doesn't take too long (about 45min) but use the H2 Stockpile button when refueling from base/fuel storage.

4. 5 Hydrogen Thrusters that act as "boosters". These are intended for short, level roads to steep inclines and improv drag racing but feel free to use them for the extra push when hill climbing. Every bit helps.
4a. These will take you over the speed limit of 45m/s so drive at your own risk. 30 - 40 m/s are good speeds for hauling.

5. A Connector is on the left side for refueling. The Connector was used so the truck could recharge and refuel. Swapping it for the old Survival kit arguably makes your journey a one-way trip or you could just build a reactor.
5a. Next to the Connector/Kit are ports for H2 Bottle recharging and a toolbox for tooling things that need tooled.
5b. Added an item box to the cab.

6. Pressurized cab for those thin atmosphere planets or when targeted by coal rollers.

7. I have included the Immersive Car Lights script for.. Immersive... Car lights. Basically turning on your headlights will enable tail lights as well and they react to braking input. Reverse and turn signal lights work as well.
8. Whip's Subgrid Manager is also incl. so the trailer wheels have gas pedal input and braking. Remember to have the Program Blocks ownership to YOU then hit RECOMPILE so the scripts actually work.

The Tractor will draw fuel, ice and power from the trailer for extended range. This is very useful on Pertam and its low ceiling for aircraft.
