Orbital Ring for Uninhabitable Planet

Description
Do you ever think about, you want to add something to your familiar planet, such as Luna, Europa, Ganymede, or Triton .etc, to represent Human had explored and get resources from them. You may want to have some modify and design can do on them, but not prefer to make all of them to a colony?

Now you can have one more choice.

This mod add ability to build Orbital Ring to uninhabitable planet. Instead of the one be built on a colony have habitable module, Orbital Ring built on uninhabitable planet will have "resource collector module" and "resource refinery module", which helps to get common resources or rare resources by automation task, and different uninhabitable planet type will get different resource type.

resource collector
resource refinery
pc_barren
pc_barren_cold
pc_asteroid
trade_value_add = 10
(combine with The Giga-Mall will bonus trade value output)
alloys = 5
pc_molten
minerals = 8
(combine with Low Gravity Mega-Refiners will bonus minerals output)
volatile_motes = 2
pc_toxic
energy = 10
(combine with Stratospheric Ionization Elements will bonus energy output)
exotic_gases = 2
pc_frozen
pc_ice_asteroid
food = 10
(combine with Climate Optimization Stations will bonus food output)
rare_crystals = 2

New feature in 1.1.0

Now you can build Habitation Modules on several Orbital Ring for Uninhabitable Planet, then use a Habitat in the same system to use the all districts they provide!!
(for ex., build Orbital Ring on Io, Europa, and Callisto, then just use a colony Jupiter Orbital Habitat to use all extra districts they provide, to avoid too many colonies exist in a system but still have the romance that your people live around whole system)

To achieve it, you just need to build a building "System Transit Center" (only can have one per system) on the habitat you want, then the Habitation Modules in the same system which is not belong to a colony will all count as the districts of this habitat.

--
When you think you don't need this Orbital Ring on uninhabitable planet anymore (for ex., you terraform the planet), you can use my mod Orbital Ring Destructor to help to remove the existing Orbital Ring.

My another mod Spaceport Building with Orbital Station provide an alternative option when you want add something to a planet

Now support English and Chinese language

By design, AI will not use content of this mod

Compatibility:

May some vanilla and mod Orbital Ring building and module take no effect when you build them on the one for Uninhabitable Planet (in general, the ones which is designed to function to a colony).

Orbitial Ring built on pc_asteroid or pc_ice_asteroid will not see Orbitial Ring model on it, maybe it is official restriction.

Where can I see the new version?

No idea why this isn't a basegame peak mod!!!!

@barkingnoise

Much thanks for your bug report, I can reproduce the issue in my side by the step you provide.

I already update a new version 2.0.3 to fix it.

Thanks

(I have your orbital ring deconstructor mod as well - and I caught the problem pretty early - so it is more of a question of *why* it seems to have started doing this after unlocking orbital rings)

Additional note: the constructor also sets upon the task to upgrade the orbital rings it seems like? Several of them were Level 2 when I discovered what had happened.
The only previous indicator to this was that the "Right click build starbase (outpost)" had a silly amount of Alloy cost (which I now assume to be the total alloy cost put together) before clicking.
It also seemed to be prepared to build it upon every available spot (if the constructors waypoint markers were any indication)

Hi!
I'm having a similar problem as Dagotho, except my constructors start building orbital rings on every possible planetary body *after I right-click to order them to construct starbase (outposts) in new systems*.
It is as if it is queuing "orbital rings over uninhabitated planets" after the initial starbase outpost (for claiming systems).
This only started occurring after I researched orbital rings on my current save.

I find it strange that it adds these things to build queue after *outposts* when otherwise nothing is supposed to be able to be built/queued directly after an outpost.

I am also using a plethora of mods, among them gigastructures as well as "Starbase over uninhabitated planets" (as well as Real Space's Planetary Stations") but like I said, it only started occurring after I researched orbital rings - and it only started queuing Orbital Rings from this mod (as I had not been able to colonize any planets in those systems yet)

A few mods had fixes or I set the mod incorrectly when loading. Because I'm testing different modifications in Stellaris, if I find the specific cause of this small anomaly, I'll give a specific list with the mod versions. Thank you for your interest :)

@Dagotho
I do a simple test with enable the mod list you said, start a new game, destroy most of the mining/research station of the start system, build an Orbital Ring for Uninhabitable Planet on Mercury, then set auto build for the construction ship, then I don't see any strange action it do, all the station be rebuilt is mining/research station.

On version 3.14 I used the same combination of mods and there was no such problem. So I was very surprised.

Orbital Ring for Uninhabitable Planet The mod is very useful for building additional defense on the borders. And when combined with the mods I wrote, strange problems occur, I don't know if it's a problem in the order or in loading the modifications.
