Work in Progress!!! Progress on the zoo is being worked on and will update when a new area is completed. This renewed effort focuses on the new panda ridge and africa rocks

One of the most famous zoos of all time has been recreated in planet zoo! The San diego Zoo features lush tropical foliage, steep winding canyons, bus tour and gondola rides and a huge variety of animals found in exhibits, habitats or aviaries. Find monkeys and hippos in the lost forest, baboons and lemurs at africa rocks, elephants lions and camels at elephant odyssey, giant pandas at panda ridge and much more!

Completed areas of the zoo so far:

- Front Street - Find Flamingos, koi fish and lots of shops here

- Reptile Walk - A spanish themed reptile house, komodo dragons and a large gharial pool

- Wildlife Explorers Basecamp - Fennec Foxes, Binturongs and insects in this modern children's zoo

- Australian Outback - Tasmanian Devils, wombats and a huge koala colony

- Urban Jungle - Giraffes, Indian Rhino, and cheetah in an urban environment

- Asian Passage - Bear Grottos, asian leopards and giant pandas in this long canyon trail

dude... this is... wow. incredible work! i'm from san diego but moved to australia a couple of years ago and i miss the zoo like crazy. being able to visit it through your amazing efforts is really emotional to me. totally magical

i was just about to start my own build of the SD zoo then saw this.. i may work on it myself but not post anything to the WS, just for myself.. thank you for such a beautiful build i hope u can finish it

Its great to hear that this mega project is still being worked on, I'm never able to find solid recreations of parks in the USA on this game, but you've nailed it with this and the Houston Zoo. Can't wait for the future of this build!

@coachjason11 Thanks! The zoo is an on/off project as it is difficult to build many parts of this zoo. The zoo is still ongoing and I'm about half way through the africa rocks trail and reworking many other parts of the zoo.

This is Amazing mode, Been there last Saturday, it's incredible to find out that it's almost like a 1:1 scale. hope it will be some update in the future!
