Description
This is a collection of small changes that will IMO make the campaigns for Warhammer 3 factions a bit more interesting.

Kislevite factions

Kislev-related changes have been removed until there's a better understanding of how the campaign plays and what doesn't make sense.

Seducers of Slaanesh

  • Enticer follower is available to heroes.
  • Kiss of Slaanesh imparts bigger leadership penalties VS Slaaneshi factions for each character successfully kissed.

Cathayan factions

  • Caravan Master Skill Fix: Level 2 Wheelwright skill and Level 2 and Level 3 skill for Way-Finder skill will actually fudging do something work the way the skill description advertises. Removed since this was fixed in vanilla 4.2.2!
  • Certain technologies will provide a shortcut-finding bonus once researched.
  • Obnoxious Ogres: The amount of bandits preyinig on your caravans is difficulty dependent. From easy bandit armies of 5-10 to legendary armies of 9-14.
  • Zhao Ming is friendly with Ogres, so The Western Provinces can recruit Ogre mercenaries via a special building chain. In addition, his upkeep reduction applies to all Ogre mercs, not just bulls.
  • The Protection (foreign slot discovery) building chain includes a garrison.
  • Caravans can embed actual heroes.

Tzeentchian factions

  • Spawnify cost changed to 2000 favour instead of 250 souls making it available to all Tzeentchian factions, not just Vilitch! Something changed in 6.1 so the cost now shows as 0 souls even though the currency is favour cost.
  • Spawnify will consume the target force until there is nothing left but Chaos spawn. Do not use this on your own armies! (Or go ahead if you want, it's funny either way.)


Caravan factions
  • If this mod detects your caravan leader is about to die of attrition, they will get a tiny HP boost to prevent losing the entire caravan.
  • This mod guarantees you'll always get at least one of the special units associated with caravan rewards.

Shadow Legion
  • Any character can use Be'lakor's rifts provided that character has defeated Be'lakor in combat.
  • Each time Be'lakor or one of his vassals razes a settlement, a new rift may randomly open somewhere.
  • A player with a death wish may attempt to close these rifts.

Khemri
  • AI Settra will roll a D4 to to determine if he starts with 1 of 3 mounts.
  • Player Settra will always start with Chariot of the Gods.

Irregardless of faction

  • Easy Slaanesh Items:
    • Realms of Chaos: Sword of Slaanesh and Personal Sychophant will always be offered to the first player who reaches the 6th Circle of Temptation in Slaanesh's realm. (In other words: no more save scumming!) When that same player returns to the 6th Circle of Temptation, they will not lose the items. In fact, they will not lose the items until another faction gets to that circle, randomly gets offered the item, and chooses to accept it.
    • Immortal Empires: Sword of Slaanesh, Personal Sychophant, and Dark Prince's Paramour are rewards for anyone who successfully seduces another faction.
  • Faction leaders will get a 50% chance to remove a Realm of Chaos trait if they end their turn in a province capital.
  • AI factions will also be blessed with Realm of Chaos traits if they spend too long in a Chaos realm.
  • No more end turn camera tour. Once is enough, thank you.
  • Cathay, Kislev, Lizardmen, Tomb Kings, and Vampire Coast rituals all inflict more attrition damage.
  • Final battle in Realms of Chaos is really long, so you can auto-resolve it if you want.
  • Daniel (Legion of Chaos) will start in a random region each campaign. No, we don't know why.

Return on Investment

  • When you borrow an army from a vassal or military ally, they will start with their movement restored.
  • If a borrowed army fights by your side and somehow lives long enough to be returned safely, that general will gain a bonus and a marker so you remember to borrow them later on.

Coming Up Next

If anyone comes up with some exceptionally stupid ideas for how they want their campaign to go, I'll consider incorporating it. (Good ideas will not be considered.)

Compatibility

  • Easy Slaanesh Items is not available when any mod edits script\campaign\wh3_main_chaos\realms\wh3_realm_slaanesh.lua.
  • Obnoxious Ogres may not be available when a mod still using the old script\campaign\wh3_campaign_ivory_road_events.lua hasn't updated.
  • Compatible with ChaosRobie's The Old World Campaign.
  • Goes great with IfThenOrElse's Kislev Confederation Choice mod.
  • Rhox's WH2 style Ogre mercenaries is really cool.
  • My changes to the Bastion mechanic will be disabled if someone is using Murranji's Great Bastion Expansion mod.

If you ask "Is this mod compatible with mod X?" then the answer is "I don't know, you'll have to try it and let me know." Please understand that I will probably mute you if you ask without trying it out for yourself first.

Works fine in multiplayer.

Oh yeah thank the gods the fixed sea encounters, just in time for another truly great mod - land encounters, can't live without it.

@Ooh-la-la, It's GAGA!! - it's an unfortunate issue with vanilla. It used to be a big problem with encounters at sea, but they fixed that mostly. Nowadays you see it most often when trying to use sea lanes. It sucks but it's better to quicksave before using any sort of interactive marker.

Be'lakor rift on raze is now random (not guaranteed), it'll work for the player, not just the AI, and since that's really strong it's now possible for another player to try and close them.

Ye you can choose, but only with cooldown of 10 turns, rift on raze sounds amazing for immortal campaign.

@Ooh-la-la, It's GAGA!! - it's for the AI only. My understanding is that when you're playing as Belakor, you get to choose when & where you open the rifts. If that's not the case, lemme know
