DEI Roman Package

Description
THIS MOD REQUIRES Divide Et Impera parts 1,2 and 3!!

_______________________________________________________________
Introduction & Contents
This is a compilation mod which combines the following mods into one mod so you don't have to manage them all in the mod launcher.
If you have subscribed to this mod, you can unsubscribe from all 5 mods above.

In addition, this mod adds even more buffs to Rome.
- Buffed empire government type.
- Increased slave gdp income, post battle loot, naval recruitment, reinforcement range, army movement, maritime commerce, general aura size and banditry suppression.
- Infantry units have slightly higher morale and melee stats, and roman shields have a whopping 80 block chance. The gladius also has slightly higher damage.
- Roman artillery units all have buffed charge bonus for that final hoorah after the crew is done shooting, and they all have higher ammunition and accuracy.
- The Rorarii are no longer useless trash and have been buffed to better serve as fodder like thureos spears.
- Roman armies can fortify every turn without any action costs!!!!
- Various roman units have had their appearance adjusted for a cleaner look. Goodbye to those ugly manheim helmets!

Enjoy my friends, and remember - don't play as Rome. Play against them.

Installation & Compatibility
  • To install, first subscribe to this mod, and place this mod above the 3 DEI parts in the mod launcher.
  • If you have other submods for DEI which you want to play with, simply place this mod over them as well to make sure the changes within this mod override them all. If you want to play this mod with my other submods, also place this mod on top of them.
  • This mod is save game compatible, and will likely be compatible with all future versions of DEI. I will update this mod should the combat system of vanilla DEI be overhauled once more.
  • Although this mod will be multiplayer compatible, multiplayer in R2 is often a very buggy process that I will not be able help much should it become an issue. All I can say regarding this is make sure both parties have the identical setup and mod load order when attempting multiplayer.

Credits
All of the texts and entries used in making this submod are not my original work, and are credited to the DEI team.
I have merely rearranged & edited existing content from DEI and the R2 native files to create this submod.
Seriously, go make a donation for DEI or something. The project deserves it.

I'm surprised there are still more than a hundred people using this mod. I've made a brief return to the scene to update this mod.

Rome now gets additional buffs to its post battle loot, naval recruitment, reinforcement range, army movement, maritime commerce, general aura size and banditry suppression.

The Roman roster is also generally buffed.

Enjoy my friends, and remember - don't play as Rome. Play against them.

I'm kinda retired from modding R2 :(
You'll have to ask other modders in the DEI discord or something.

This mod doesn't touch the pop system at all as far as I can recall. I removed that component entirely due to compatibility issues.
