This mod changes varius aspects of the game trying to add immersion,strategy and character bonding.
There are many changes most of them made through tweaking of the generals function in the game as an indirect way to affect the army's behaviour. Also this mod dramatically changes the importance of character building giving (in an rpg kind of a way) depth and choices with consequences to the leveling up of your generals.All this changes made after careful research and behind each bonus there is either a specific historic fact or historic text or finding.Especially I was affected from Lysanders and Agisilaus (famous Spartan general and king) biographies of Xenofon and Plutarch.
More specific in that part generals acquire varius characteristics according to the attributes you strengthen.And those attributes are authority subversion and zeal.
So in authority the character is following an administrative path with zeal he is the type of warrior that bonds with the troops and becomes a father figure for them and with subterfuge he aims to be a tactician General .All generals start with negative per year gravitas in order to simulate the starting disbelieflief in them and after few victories they stop that reduction and later on they gain gravitas by winning.Later on they can reach such level of influence that can affect the whole ruling party power balance.(this is more profound in zeal because ancients were more amazed by warriors more than administrators). Lysander the winner of Peloponnesian war was
worshipped like a God in his time.
So to be more specific a general of the administrative type willl in time give construction cost bonuses,tax bonuses, public order and culture spread bonuses and corruption reduction.Towards the end he gives ruling party power but because of inside enemies and Jealously he becomes more and more exposed in assassination attempts.So you need to guard him carefully.
In zeal path the General is more of a warrior so he gives varius bonuses in battle stats morale and tremendous increase in fame and power (All this to the cost of more food consuption and upkeep for that army and even greater exposure in assasination attempts because these guys were thought to be even greater threat from their antagonists).finally the subversion path leads to a more strategic and careful character who manages to avoid better his enemies and offer varius campaign bonuses like in ambushes, movement range, replenishment,mercenary upkeep, night battles boosts and many more.Every time you hover your cursor over the icon of attribute of a general a detailed drop down list will appear informing you of the active effects..
This mod also uses the cost increase during campaigns I introduced to my costly wars mod plus adds food consumption from the armies while in your territory to make food producing important(in foreign land troops used to raid for their food).Also improvements were made in varius stances like the slave population reduction of enemies while raiding which is historical because in Arhens siege from Sparta slaves were the first to defect to the enemy with the hope of freedom.The opposite happened during Athenian raid of Lacony and the helot revolt it followed also in many-many other examples.
Additionally navies now have a point. In patrol mode they almost eliminate piracy in their region something accurate because that era piracy had not the potential to resist professional navies like they did in 17th century. also in patrol mode they bring an important increase in trade profits something also accurate representing the true role of navies of that time and the tributes that various nations offered to sea worthy nations for protection. (Athens alone received 600 talands annually for that role.Also finally this functionality of the navy was the reason that despite being sieged for a decade by land Athens resisted,came back strong and almost turn the tide of the the war by staying economicaly alive).
Finally in double time stance there is a small decrease in upkeep trying to simulate the supply role navies played for land troops.(I was not able to directly reduce land upkeep through navy so I reduced naval upkeep instead).So now you may use navies more for their supportive role..
Lastly all the ancillary characters now give also bonuses to authority, zeal, and subversion in order to help player reach high levels of attributes enjoy the varius bonuses and evolve their characters better.
In next few days some minor improvements will be uploaded constantly in ancillary role without affecting your game.
Although this mod does not need restarting a campaign if you do so you will create better armies and better generals.

I am not sure anymore. THey have made several updates.. There is a version called TTT friendly so this could be more compatible

A good constructive criticism and a good answer to that, indeed.

This mod sounds like a nice concept, but I cannot get what it actually does from the description.

No problem friend. I understand. English is not my native language and when I write in English I am usually creating walls of texts because I try to be detailed in what I mean..
Sorry for not having the free time to fix this. RL is just so demanding that I lack even those minutes to fix my descriptions. It may sound as an exaggeration but it is not. Long story to explain but it is not..

I don't know if my feedback is to be appreciated, but; sorry, I can't read your description on your mod anyway. It's too concentrated, with no space in it, no separation between paragraphs, forming all a single mass where all looks the same and you can't help but feeling dizzy about it. No way to distinguish sections where you can think 'I was reading here'.

Please don't take it bad, I'm only intending this as constructive criticism, and I will delete this if you are displeased by it.

remove +chance for enemy agents to hit general when his stats are hight, it is fully bullshit when your general hight lvl every 1 lvl spy can kill him or poison food. Also bullshit that then u add your spy to army generals SUBTERFUGE becomes to hight and instead better defence againts enemy action general get + chance to get hit

change plz Triumfator trait (when general get 6 lvl) coz in vanila it is quite useless

and faction leader trait is useless too (name of trait is Dictator)

and mb u can do smth with stupid vanila traits like Ksenophobe and other?
