Description
This mod is no longer actively being maintained, but anyone may pick it up in my stead in the event that it breaks. All I ask is that the original Caves of Qud Expanded mod not be updated, as it is very special to me, though anyone may use it as a reference for their own mods. I'm stepping away from modding Caves of Qud, if you'd like to know more you can see the description of the original Caves of Qud Expanded mod page below. Live and drink, friends.

Hey there everyone, this is something I made sort of on a whim and also as an attempt to try to experiment a bit and get back into messing with scripting as I ease myself back into modding. All in all I think it went well so far, though I haven't had much time to test it I have at least given it a basic pass and ensured it isn't just crashing over and over.

This mod is *not* currently included in Caves of Qud Expanded, so if you want it you have to subscribe to this! You can check the changelog on the page here to see a more detailed explanation of the numbers, however suffice it to say here that enemies will grant a more gradually increasing penalty to experience as you outlevel them and won't ever grant zero experience. Furthermore, it also adds a *bonus* to experience for killing enemies that outrank you, albeit smaller but still gradually increasing. I also adjusted the log messages to show a breakdown of Base and Bonus/Penalty XP, if applicable. If you like what I did, feel free to leave a thumbs up, it means a lot more to me than you might think.

For anyone interested in what I did, you can open the .cs file with any text editor and take a look at it, though I recommend something that has text formatting for coding to make it a bit easier to read. I added comments to explain what I did and why throughout it.

As in if you are maybe 13x the level of the mob certain things should maybe 0 xp (maybe as a toggleable option if possible?)

Do you mean like after reaching a certain level, killing *anything* under your level won't give you XP, or that killing things that are a certain number of levels below you won't give you XP?

Either way it shouldn't be much trouble, I just need to know which and what level you had in mind, if any.

Could you please release a version of this where at some point you won't get experience for killing a mob under your level I like that you can get bonus experience for killing higher level targets but if you could never not get experience then that would though balance way out (I would edit the code myself on my person copy if I wasn't so terrible at writing/reading code)?

This is currently separate from the base Expanded mod. Consider this an Addon to it, in the future it may become a part of the Expanded mod by default but currently it is not.

So is this an addon to Caves of Qud Expanded or is this an alternative version to Caves of Qud Expanded? Should I download both?
