Description
This mod lets you get a refund for rejected prints, and use it to get your next print sooner, or to print more specific care packages.

Every time you reject a printing pod offer, you get 1kg Bio-Ink. Delivering 2kg of Bio-Ink to any printing pod will give you the option to get a new Print. (so for every 2 rejected offers, you get 1 free).




When i started this mod Raincheck has been out of date for a while. Since then SkyRunner has updated the mod. I did ask their permission to release this mod, and they approved.

Tampering with the Ink
You can inject some materials into the Bio-ink to customize it at the Crafting Station. If you disabled Care Packages, you only get default, Vacillating and Suspicious Ink options (which all prints dupes).

When rejecting a tampered ink, you get 1000g of the matching ink back.

Additional tweaks
In mod settings you can enable the random dupes to have a chance to generate anytime, even as starters. (Set it to 1.0 to always generate).
settings.json is in Documents\Klei\OxygenNotIncluded\mods\config\PrintingPodRecharge\settings.json.
You can also tweak the packs and recipes here. (delete a file to reset to defaults.)

Can I safely remove this mod mid-game?
Yes.

ℹ - Voiceroid Hairstyles and other dupe hair adding mods: the Suspicious Ink Dupes will not use custom hairs, but regular prints and Vacillating Ink will work fine with them.

Known Issues
- DGSM crashes if you get a starter random dupe with a vacillator perk, and then try to edit it.

Can the seed bio ink give thimble reed seeds ? asking since i play on badlands and there is no way to get it besides rng giving me it on printing pod

Yeah. Regular CP goes from 4000 kcal Nutrient Bars early game to 12000 kcal Barbeque and Spicy Tofu.

But the food ink starts with a 600 Meal Lice (worth 850 as Liceloaf ingredient) to the maximum of a 6000 kcal Pumpkin Pie.

Substract a 800 kcal Mushbar for the ink recipe, actuall worth 1050 as Mush Fry and the comparison is even worse.

Just taking the two regular care packages, be it food or not they are generally still somewhat useful (and in case of animals can often be butchered still for more meat), So I'd say the reward should be 50% kcal better than regular (so it's still a bit of gamble so giving up two care packages with food included in the choices might not necessarily work out).

So effectively the current food ink rewards should be tripled to be balanced and make it a viable option

stroom, your basically saying you feel the balance is not set right? that your using food and 2 inks and the amount of calories coming back need to be increased for the cost?

Why does the nutricious ink give so little actual food? You're basically throwing away the gains of two previous care packages but the food you get is about a single dupe's meal worth of food for it in most cases. Worse even since you're also paying calories into the ink recipe.

Since the latest ONI update, the new recipe details window is not showing certain ingredients even though I have it discovered (referring to Seeded Ink - Pikeapple seed not showing even after discovery). Not sure if the new update's recipe details window is causing it or incompatibility with the FPP DLC. Hope a later update would solve this.
...or it might be mod incompatibility issue

While the stack trace suggest this mod, better info cards is the one that is redded out during crash, so I am posting to both pages, apologies if it is not a specific incompatibility to your mod.

I believe the crash occured due to double clicking printing pod, but I have not been able to reproduce by spam left or right clicking either it or bio inks.
