Designed with crew safety in mind, the Bulwark is capable of keeping areas safe and operational even after receiving heavy damage, featuring excellent flood control and well distributed suits. Smaller crews will do well to keep in mind the somewhat convoluted layout and the above average required maintenance, as well as the relatively bad performing reactor.

How to play
The Bulwark is a sturdy and reliable vessel with good firepower that prioritizes crew safety with its design; you can expect the central part of the sub, housing the crew quarters, gunnery, command and junction compartment, to be extremely safe from various hull breaches and invasions. The four ballasts provide excellent draining power while the readily available diving suits reduce the risks coming from high pressure.

Several quirks are in place to facilitate operating the sub: various sensors on the outside allow the crew in gunnery to identify the direction of enemy attacks; command is powered by an auxiliary battery, allowing it to use most of its functions even when the main power is missing. As an additional aid, the lights on the weapons are only turned on when someone is at the relative periscope, reducing the chance of being spotted from afar while guns are unmanned.

On the flip side, the four ballasts and the rather convoluted layout make maintenance slower than usual, while gunnery must be wary that loaders and ammo are in a different area altogether; crews must keep this in mind, as a lack of teamwork can considerably slow down certain operations. Last but not least, the reactor's performance isn't the best, so care must be taken when going for quick manouvers and/or using several on board systems at once.

Author's notes
A reliable, no nonsense tier 2 sub that can take care of its crew better than others. As already stated, the middle area is incredibly safe and allows gunnery and command to continue working even during harsh attacks and floods; just remember that its mobility isn't great and repentine changes in speed and direction can cause dangerous fluctuations in the power grid.

I found it out, once I transfered to the sub I had to respawn to get access.

Really like it, though crew is unable to get into Secure Steel Cabinets and Toxin Cabinets it seems.
