Description
This mod will make you game progression slower, as the player has to pay more attention to more simple but micro systems added by this

As 6/4/2023, the mod got a big rework on its main mechanics, to be more simple and enjoyable

What does the mod exactly do?
This mod adds Thirst and Hunger "meters" for you Crew in battle, similar by how it works in Monster Hunter: World and its Stamina (kinda), reducing you crew stats as those become worse and worse, but allowing you to stop those by eating or drinking in battle, with added benefits the more hunger or thirst got satied!

Specific behaviour of the mod
--Hunger is linked to HP, while Thirst is linked to MP. Hunger increases when you take physical damage or are forcefully moved, while Thirst increases while doing an action. The following stats reduce the chance to obtain a level of those: Physical Defense, Evasion, you actual HP (for Hunger), Magical Defense, Resistance, you actual MP (for Thirst)
--2 new classes that dont require a trainer: Those are unlocked as you increase the HP and MP of you units, and are tied either to Thirst or to Hunger mechanics.
--Like Food on the overworld, bottles of water are also consumed, but on a "per step" basis, the amount scalling with you total fleet size.
--The mod adds Bottles of Water and Individual food rations that can be used in combat to sate those 2. While consumed, those remove they associatted status mechanic from you char, giving them benefits the more of those was cleaned! Those have to be on each one of you chars inventory to be used, so enjoy the new layer of micromanagment!
--To get Individual food rations, using any slash attack against the vanilla Food will turn it into said item, at a conversion ration of 1:1
--Empty bottles can be refilled at any Merchant of any port, or you can collect water with the Water collectors (crafting recipe: Wood + Iron Chunk) to have an slow but unlimited source to refill you bottles manually.
--The mod also adds an Oven (crafting recipe: Steel Bar + Iron Chunk), which is able to, once lit, conver Food into Individual Food rations at a conversion rate of 1:2, being more effective than slashing you food provisions
--All of the mod features can be configured, by looking at "mods" option at the pause menu
--Lastly, the mod adds an small farming system, which allows you to harvest plants which its fruits enhace you metabolism by allowing you to use Hunger and Thirst stacks to you adventage!

Part I of the clarity update its allredy online. Expanded the Cargo section with more info of the mod mechanics, specifically those while sailing. Also made the "in depth" examination of the mod mechanics in the pinned discussion.

Hey Kuma, sorry for the delay. I will make a tiny update for the mod adding tutorials since seems like its something I should have been done from the very start on such a complex mod. But for now, I will make a pinned discussion post with an in-depth breakdown of the mod mechanics.

But yeah, it works like this: There is a chance while sailing that, per tile, you will raise a thirst meter by 1. Once it reaches 10, barrels or bottles with water will be substracted. Else, if you dont have any of those 2 you will take Crew Morale damage (like how it works for Vanilla food consumption). But there is a whole world behind the "frequency" of how often this triggers, as it scales with you total hired actors and you fleet size.

As I say, writting the in depth breakdown rn, cause yeah, lots of stuff inside this mod. Thanks a lot for the patience and input, really.

Ops, sorry for the delay! xo
Hmm, I see. The sailing thirst meter is the one that shows when hovering the boat, right? With a countdown, crew icon, and numbers that go up and "refresh" that countdown, I imagine depending on the crew members you have? I see when it reaches its end, all my water barrels are consumed, or bottles of water, if I have any, so, what would be my optimal play? I tried freezing my barrels of water into frozen barrels and buying more fresh water barrels to see if the thirst countdown ending wouldn't consume all of the fresh ones, but they still do. So, stashing excess water is the no-go, and water should be filled/bought every trip I make on the sea. Or is there any way to prevent all my water bottles/barrels from getting consumed in each thirst check?

And for the one of the other mod, you have to press "Tab" while hovering on the item. The turbulence tooltip its inside the item description, which by default the game does not show you.

Other than that, all mods are pretty much self isolated, so incompatibility issues are extremly rare and pretty much we modders are in touch with each other to prevent those cases.

I think that should be all. If you have any doubt, feel free to contact me on Discord or here. As always, thanks a lot for you input and feedback!

Hey Kuma. Sorry for the delayed response. Lemme answer you in order:
-1) The "splosh" its intentional. It indicates whenever the sailing thirst meter its raising by 1. I should probably make a fancy fx for it, but I fear it might me invasive or look odd. I needed a way to indicate, visually, the player that sailing thirst its rising. Bottles and Barrels must be on you stash to work, otherwise each time the meter fills, you Crew Morale will be damaged. I just checked on my game and the drain works as it should.
-2) For the "salty ones", its a separate mechanic. Based on how much food/water you have, there is a chance some of it will expire and turn into rotten food / salty water, which if consumed will raise the respective meter to the max. The chance its really low and has a cooldown of 3 days, but it exists. If you use Ice over Water Barrels, those will become frozen barrels which while on the stash get consumed whenever the rot check happens to prevent it. --->

part 2:
Oh, non-related, but the fishing "turbulence" (like the thing that makes fishing not be like free money, that likes add for each fishing attempt) doesn't show in the fishing spot tooltip (that is genius btw. lol I couldn't abuse fishing this time around xD).
I'm mostly using yours and Prominences mods, so it might also be some kind of incompatibility. Oh well, just wanted to let you know. Thanks for the amazing work! :)

Hi there!
I seem to be having some problems with this mod... I don't know if it's just me, but sometimes when I'm sailing that "sploosh" sound of the boat happens, like something dropped, and when I go to check, all my Barrels of Water are used, there was even once I bought like 1000 barrels, I sailed a bit (like a day and a half, maybe?), the sploosh sound happened, and all my barrels where gone. Same with bottles of water, I think they are meant to turn into salt water, but most of them just "splooshes" into the water, I guess, like mid-sailing. This is kinda like middle-game esque, hmm, and I think this is it...
part 1 cause this post is too long lol
