Weaponsmith Apprentice Start

Description
Have you ever wanted to be a weaponsmith apprentice down on his luck?
Well now you can!

This game start is fairly simple and gives you a single, unarmed character who recently was forced to leave their post as a weaponsmith apprentice. You spawn in Brink and with a full set of Drifter's Leather gear, but with very little money, and no weapons.

The ingame description is the following:
"Your father was a weaponsmith working out of Brink and you were both his only child and his apprentice. It was found out that your father was supplying weapons to the Rebels and he was executed for his crimes. You were found innocent, but your father's shop and everything inside was confiscated, including all of your belongings.
With nothing left but your fists and the clothes on your back, it is up to you to decide: Are The United Cities still your allies? Or will you work against them like your father did?"

You are forced to play one of the two human races. This is because the United Cities (despite accepting other races) clearly favors humans and if your father were to own a weapon shop, he was probably human as well.

Most of the stats start at 1 and the only buffed stats are the following:
-Strength: 10
-Toughness: 10
-Science: 10 (the screeshot shows 12 because of the Greenlander 1.2x bonus to Science)
-Weaponsmith: 40

I personally am pairing this mod with Gloam Unique Recruit (as part of an RP of mine), which spawns a P4 Unit in Black Scratch who recently lost his arm. Gloam is free to recruit through dialogue and is featured at the link below:

This mod can be kept fairly high in load order and should be 100% compatible with other mods as it adds the new Game Start without editing any existing data.

If you enjoy my mod, feel free to hit that 👍

@ 𝕸. I added basic research as well! Thanks for helping me correct my mistake!

Holy shit, didnt expect an answere to my comment, i was very unclear tho, you see the issue is that unlocking the smithy from the start (adding stuff to the research you start with) resets the other basic research you start with, basically locking you out in terms of research since you cant build the research bench. I fixed that by doing an import where i reset the research to base game default.

I thought id tell you since you would have to add the basic starting research back, otherwise people using the Start would have to work around that with an Import.

Sorry for being a bit vague with my explanation before. :raksasistun:

@ 𝕸. Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh! Right! Because he's a weaponsmith I gave him some weapon crafting research unlocked from the start. I don't know why it took me almost three weeks to remember what the heck you were talking about, but I finally understand your comment... whoops!

Also, I didn't realize that the research would reset when building a smithy. I'm not sure if there is a way for me to fix this. I'm not knowledgeable enough about Kenshi modding to come up with a solution (other than importing), but if you have any suggestions, please let me know!

I realy like this start, currently playing it. Hower it has a minoor flaw, the basic research got reset when adding the smithy to it so a import is needed. Otherwise the idea is pretty cool.
