Project 720 - Light Missile Frigate

After its Courier Class Guided Missile Corvettes were made useless following the galactic ban on weapons of mass destruction, S.E.C. needed a ship to fill the medium combatant role. In a rush with a limited budget, it was decided to adapt unfinished Project 747 hulls into "light frigates" to fill the gap in the fleet. The resulting vessel would be classified as Project 720 with 2 examples recently adopted into active service to determine usefulness of the type. In their current forms, SCS Hunter and SCS SpaceBoat are armed with 1 Artillery, 6 Assault, and 2 (unguided) Missile Turrets. Whilst it cannot destroy a ship in 1 shot as the Courier Class, it does have some advantages such as being able to make more full-distance jumps.
