Ammo Control [COMMISSION]

Description
This is a commission.

This is a successor to Extra Ammo. Like that mutator, this lets you control how much ammo a weapon will have. This version however allows more specific control of these values.

General Control
This feature is a direct copy from Extra Ammo. The number you put here will be how many extra mags will be added to your weapons.

Direct Control
Under the "Direct Control" section of the mutator settings you'll find string lines that you can input text into. Each entry must follow a format of weaponName|magSize|maxAmmo. Each entry must be separated with a "," character. Invalid strings will cause bugs so make sure you follow the format. To help with formatting and large amounts of entries there are multiple lines available for you to put entries into. Which lines you use do not matter, so long as each line follows the correct format.

WEAPON NAMES ARE CASE SENSITIVE!!! The names you must enter are based off of what the weapon's name is in the weapon select screen.

Special Characters
Inputting "∞" in either ammo field will give 99999999 ammo to the weapon. A value of -2 will also give infinite ammo but will break guns that have advanced reloads. There is currently no fix for this.

To leave a value at its default simply put the "-" character instead.

Caveats
There are certain things I cannot address. If two weapons have the exact same name, I cannot do anything to differentiate the two. If I find a way to do so, I will fix it but as of right now the weapon creators themselves have to do the job of differentiating names properly.

As this effectively replaces Extra Ammo, that mutator will be hidden. It will still be available but no longer supported.

I didn't say it was impossible lol. I'm just not interested, or haven't been comissioned to do so.

I'm also just not a fan of current limitations on how users would assign data they want to change for weapons. I'm working on something that lets the game read .json files to modify weapon stats though.

I don't know but this guy managed to create a way to create a good weapon stats variety mechanic via trigger system, heck, the damage output, ammo count and fire rate of your weapons are even changed to fit your needs...

@AnnoyedCardboard https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3141806633 Weapon Tweaker lets you change damage, but no mod for firerate

could you make a mod that allows us to set the damage and/or firerate of weapons?

Once you update this mod can you leave the old version in case of EA26 incompatibility?

You'll just have to wait til I have time again I'm afraid. I'll roll it back to the previous version for now.

The latest update is busted lol.

Some of the weapons won't affect change like the Five-Seven from the original MW trilogy and more of them, I need you to address some issue ASAP.

Or it could indicate that some weapon name has "-" that will cause ammo of the weapon won't change.

It appears that this mutator doesn't work for weapons that have a comma in their name.

For example, the Chauchat M1918 mod is named "Automatic Rifle, Model 1918 (Chauchat)" in-game and it doesn't work on this mutator, probably because a comma is used on the mutator itself to include another weapon in a line.
