[Type B1-E] I-19

After wondering "What could possibly be the ship with the highest raw potential ?", the naval engineers of the IRN found an answer. "To achieve bigger potential, we just need a bigger hull!", and with this in mind, the first class of Europan attack submarine for the IRN was born, the Type B1-E, plenty of room to improve and all wires were left out of their safe spot to allow field rewiring, raw potential at the cost of a lot of things when on an unmodified hull. The main strengths of this class are the presence of a magazine allowing quick and efficient reloading, high firepower assuming the captain approaches the target from below, all-in-one electrical compartment, your engineer won't have to move to either side of the ship for maintenance of most equipment, a large ballast equipped with a self destruct system for when some intruders just don't get the memo, all crafting stations are on board, yes that's right, deconstructor, medical fabricator, you name it, all can be done from the comfort of your ship, no waiting to get to the next friendly outpost for your genetic gacha. Now that you got reasons to get on board of the ship, we are legally required to list a few design flaws. Firstly, every electrical system being in the same compartment means a major flooding in this area can be devastating, and this area is not covered by any gun while the ship is on its stock configuration, so to get rid of a threat there, you will need to maneuver, or do the job the old fashioned way. Secondly, one of the two starting coilguns's persicope is located in the conning tower, while every part of the conning tower has been reinforced following studies of submarines that did make their way back to port, the front is just as defenceless as the electrical compartment, so it's either maneuver or dive if you don't want to die. Lastly, the armor, weaponry, and the sheer amount of active systems make the sub pretty slow on top of greatly increasing its energy consumption, you will most likely struggle to keep all systems online if using less than 2 fuel rods. That's about it.
And if you're wondering why the engineers chose to take inspiration from a Type B1 instead of something even bigger like an I-400 class, it's simply because the class is the recordholder for the most devastating torpedo salvo delivered thanks to I-19's lucky salvo.
