Description
Key update note-
"# of blocks to hide label" now changed to "Hide grids <X blocks" to clean up symbology. Added onscreen list of contacts (off by default). Check options menu for "Summary List Options"

Overview
This mod shows overlays, labels, and lines indicating threats or obstructions (friendly grids, asteroids, etc) based upon targeting data from WeaponCore. This uses the exact same data available to programming blocks and mouse-wheel scrolling to look for targets.

There are also incoming missile warnings, and collision warnings if you are within about 30 seconds of hitting an obstruction. No warranty is implied for mishaps that occur when using this feature.

Again, range is based upon the longest range weapon on the grid, OR sync distance, whichever is less. This does NOT add capability beyond the existing scroll-wheel targeting.

Velocity shown is relative between you and target. SE didn't like the actual delta unicode character, so ^ is as good as it gets.

Settings
Settings can be accessed via the mod menu. Hit enter to bring up chat, then F2. Mod Settings should appear on the top left of your screen.

Preferences are retained between games. You can do a hard reset on them via "/radar reset"

Hud elements can be quickly hidden with "/radar hide"

World Settings
Servers that utilize this mod can specify a starting set of defaults for players that have never used this mod. You can place a client settings file into world storage. Note that players can change their local settings afterward, and their customizations will persist for them.

Once customized, place it in the world storage "YourWorldName/Storage/2957590632.sbm_WCRadar". Clients will be sent a copy of this config automatically when they join the server, although as noted above it will only be applied for folks that have never used WC Radar before.

Servers can also specify a list of block subtypeIDs that are required for the radar overlay or lock on warning to function. Blocks are checked if they are functional. Look in the mod folder>Server Config Example for a sample file. This will be distributed to clients by the mod when they connect to the server.

Dependencies & Credits
This mod utilizes TextHudAPI by DraygoKorvan for the settings menu and text labels next to contacts. WeaponCore by DarkStar is utilized for targeting data. This mod also utilizes snippets of code to wrangle SE from Digi, used under creative commons.

Hey Carillo, have you considered adding sound options to this like WC scripts?

For example a sound when a target is detected/drawn, one for missile detection, a cooldown for them so that for instance missile spam doesn't flood your ears with crap.

I know this isn't a framework, but I thought It'd be a nice addition :)

if you're super close to an asteroid, the corner boxes may be far offscreen. Their bounding boxes can be absolutely huge.

You have to enable obstacle detection in the settings for it to show asteroids

Oh shoot, the server default example was being written to the wrong spot. I've just fixed it to write to the world storage "YourWorldName/Storage/2957590632.sbm_WCRadar"

For some reason the config folder isn't being generated in my world, is there a way to manually add the block requirement config?
