Slower Exploration and Expansion

Description
Summary:
This mod tries to make the early game feel somewhat longer by slowing down the speed of exploration and border expansions of empires.

Should be compatible with other mods.

Features:
  • Slower Survey Speed
  • Slower Anomaly Research Speed
  • Higher Influence Cost for Outposts

Comment with any bugs and suggestions below.

New Mod: https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3242486836

Note: Changing mid-game and end-game dates might be a good idea since every empire is weaker and the crises are still strong.

Your mod is the *only* mod doing this right now, and I was worried *no* mods were providing such a feature so I'm super chuffed to find it. I'm willing to admit that my style of play is probably pretty niche (low speed, high roleplay) but I wanted to let you know: thank you for filling in that really specific niche!

There is a chance that this mod is blocking the bonus gained from investigated anomalies? I have 0 physic and society bonus from 2 anomalies that are investigated. Tnx.

Great enhancement to slow down game pace. Thank you! :steamhappy:

Enjoying very much.
Noticed on my most recent run that distant sectors cost far less than adjacent ones.
Makes islands easier than connected territories. Is this deliberate?

Amazing mod. Can't imagine playing Stellaris without this mod anymore.

Why does expansion get MUCH more expensive as the game goes on? Is there any way to keep the influence cost static? Paying 300+ influence per system (with several influence cost reductions) is just way to expensive.

Honestly this mod have really big issues with telling the player what exactly its doing. No numbers in description. You open menu - this menu provide you a bunch of setting, and you can't really tell how they affect your gameplay. Ok, i can understand what "Influence per system/empire size" or something mean, but since i can't see numbers, i can't even tell what settings i need for optimal gameplay. "High" means what? 1% or 10% or 100% or 1000% additional influence per system? "High" compared to what?
If this mod will eventually become a little bit user-friendly, it will be very cool and useful. Now it's barely useful until you run a bunch of test games just to understand is your settings good or bad.
