Description
If Original mod author does not want to have this mod up, gonna delete it. If original mod author wants to use this mod to update his own version, they can do it without notifying me.

Changelog!
- replaced old file paths (pre modding rework) with new ones (after modding rework) (with old file paths it does not work on dedicated server, also causes other problems sometimes)
- removed random spawns of artifacts on your submarine's path (that was feature vanilla had but no longer has)
- reworked salavage missions to work with the new artifact missions (tbh i removed them, as random artifact spawns are now handled by vanilla)
- fixed artifact spawns to work with newest version
- fixed oasis artifact still giving out effects and sounds when in container
- fixed spark artifact still giving out effects and sounds when in container
- NOW THERE IS NO NEED TO EDIT OUT RANDOMEVENTS. DONT DO THIS ANYMORE
- SHOULD BE COMPATIBLE WITH EVERY SINGLE MOD OUT THERE

This mod extends list of artifacts available and adds new unique effects.

Atm mod contains:
  • New artifacts
  • New artifact missions (ruins + caves)
  • 2 New alien trinkets
  • Added healing effects to all alien trinkets (inner/organ damage, bites/laceration, burn, blunt/explosion traumas or psychosis)
List of new artifacts currently in this mod: (no spoilers)
  • Oasis artifact
  • Rusting artifact
  • Infrasonic artifact
  • Bloodmoon artifact
  • Heart of the swarm artifact
  • Bent reality artifact
  • Spark artifact
  • Pulse artifact
  • Vacuum artifact
  • Biohazard artifact
  • Melting artifact
  • Integrity artifact
Ways to obtain new artifacts:
  • Missions
  • Naturally generated ruins
  • Environment: caves, seabed, wrecks (it seems it works properly without workaround)
I'll be adding artifacts when i get new unique ideas. You can share your suggestions and i'll add those into mod.



Environment workaround (in case artifacts don't spawn normally in environment)
New artifacts will not generate normally in environment unless you edit Bugtrauma/Content/randomevents.xml
(an old bug, that has not been fixed yet - only host has to modify file)
You'll have to delete everything inside tags <Randomevents></Randomevents>
This will let mod use it's Artifacts extended/Events/events.xml

This will not effect your campaign savefile and even will let you join public games, but if you you'r planning to host an unmoded public game, you'll have to validate game files first to restore Content/randomevents.xml file.
(else nothing will spawn during the mission, neither monsters neither artifacts)

Workaround side effects:
  • not compatible with other mods that require you editing randomevents.xml (afaik atm there's no such mods)

Does it work with Artifacts and Ruins Enhanced? That mod changes the way artifacts themselves work slightly, so I don't think it would work with the modded artifacts here, but it adds artifact researching mechanics and forces you to scan them and figure out what they do.

I know the description says it works with almost every mod but does it work with More Artifacts (AOCS)? Also I think that mod has artifacts that generate along the subs path.

In the meantime, said lag can be avoided by putting the artifacts into a modded backpack or carrying them in a metal crate

can confirm as well, game started lagging after trinket was in my hotbar

Can confirm that the lag issue with trinkets is still present, just encountered it after raiding some ruins.

There is a problem with original version that whenever you put some of the trinkets into your inventory, game would begin to lag for everyone on the server, is that fixed?
