The introduction of leader capacity does affect how people play so many people will have to change how many leaders they hire. Everyone is currently experiencing the graphic bug. It does get quite annoying, but I’ve slowly grown to ignore it though and I’m sure it will be fixed soon. You can actually roll back your game to a previous version if you go to you steam library > stellaris > manage > properties > betas and select the version you want to play with.
No problem! I wouldn’t necessarily say the developers screwed up although the change is controversial but I think the feature could use some tweaking by either increasing the default base leader capacity and/or by adjusting the calculation for upkeep.
Fedral got a good point cause (late in the game), I usually have one scientist for planet, at least 8/10 Sectors, 4 Envoy and 20 Fleets? So I had 92 Leaders and now I can't handle the Unity loss.
I like to have a lot of Leaders with differents skills and I don't understand this new way to limit them. It's also more complicated to see thier own skills... if they have...
The rest of the upgrade is pretty good, but there's a graphic bug cause my game starts to have problems when I click on the Icons on the top left of the screen, cause when you do it, the position on the map starts to blip on the screen and they never stop and I have to save the game and reload it...
A question for you mates... If I don't like the update could I not play with it?
Thanks
Have a nice weekend
Yeah, no problem! I’m sure the upkeep penalty for having many leaders is a shock to old saves. My main inspiration for creating these mods was to buffer the early game a little bit. I personally like the 12 base leader capacity for that reason.
