Description
An edit of Spongie's "Guns Are Loud (Again) to include the guns from Firearms B41.

Buffs the absolute crap out of the sound radiuses. Gun go BANG.

All credit for the code goes to Spongie, I simply altered their mod.

Go check out their original mod if you want to use with the vanilla guns:


Before anyone asks, no I will not create a similar mod for Britas. There's far too many guns for me to bother doing that, and I don't even use Britas in the first place. The only reason I made this was because I'm a big fan of FB41 and the original Guns Are Loud Again mod, and wanted to have functionality between the two.

2. The other problem, which we believed to be part of the same issue but in fact seems to be the other side of the coin. In MP, if I’m 10 tiles or greater away from another person shooting guns, literally no sounds would be heard. So I would not be able to hear him shooting from the next street over. I have no idea what variable would need to be changed to fix this. This issue has been around since MP release I believe.

This still persists even with the other mod we had success with “LoudGuns”

Hey bud, Merry Christmas!! Me and my brother were testing this last night. There seems to be 2 issues with the game.
1. Is the gun sound radius which we tested this mod, along with it’s requirement Item Tracker API loaded first, then FB41 Tweaks, then this mod loaded last. Sadly the issue still persisted where zeds on the next street would just ignore shots.

This mod however seems to fix the problem and has no requirement, albeit the sound distance is x3 for most guns. We tested under the same conditions and saw that zeds were piling in from all directions. Up to this point we tested for 4hrs trying to figure out the problem and I still couldn’t see where the issue lies, but felt a massive sense of relief when the other mod sorted the problem.

Huh, y'know I'm kinda stumped on that one. Maybe I'll have to take another look at the code to make sure it's all working as it should. Although probably not right now, I'm a wee bit tipsy :')

Hi @Scroobles,

I'm not having any luck with getting to work on multiplayer. I can't hear my friends shots if they're further than 10 tiles away.
We're using the Tweaked version of the original FB41 mod https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2989654566
Though, your edits should just ignore the weapons that have been removed...

Nah, this is just for FB41. I didn't plan on doing similar mods for other weapon packs, but maybe one day...

Either a mod conflict, or a load order issue is my best guess. Make sure this is one step lower than Firearms B41 in the list.

Should do. Don't see why it wouldn't work. It was working fine and dandy when I was doing the initial testing. My guess is that Juani down there had some kinda mod conflict.
