Description
What does this mod do?

The main objetive of this mod is to diversify as much as possible the activity of sailing trought the seas of Eral, by adding 12 new random "activities" (items) both benefical or pernicious that randomly appear as you sail. Among what you can find between those are Tresaure Chests that spawn after several Fleets have been sunk, baby Bloodweavers that damage you crew and steal you food, spirits that can either reduce or increase you Crew Morale, a simplified fishing minigame, one repeteable dungeon with intelligent Cleevers, and more!

Some of those "events" have a pre-requisite to spawn, or some spawn for a limited time to make the sea more interesant and diverse. This mod is totally safe to use on both old and new saves.

I encourage the player to discover those interactions by themselfs. However, if curious, here is an spoilered list of all of em among they requisites to spawn:

-Fishing Spot: Very common spawn, when clicked, gives you one unit of "Blopfish" and then dissapears. However, if you wait, it will increase every 50 time units the amount of Blopfishes it gives by 1, stacking infinitly.
-Heliocopter: Common spawn. When clicked, unleashes winds in a zone, randomly spawning Gusts or Gales, and stunning any entity that isnt the player for 20, giving you time to outrun them in a perssecution.
-Dionaea: Rare spawn. If moving trought it damages the actual ship by 2. If clicked, gives you the option to use Blopfishes to trick it so you crew can descend into a repeteable dungeon with intelligent cleevers.
-Apollo`s Mercy: Rare spawn. Emits light. If moving trought it, heals the actual ship by 2.
-Lost Tresaure: Very rare spawn. Only appears after you have defeated 24 Ships in combat by filling an invisible meter, that resets once it spawns so you can make it spawn again by defeating more Ships. When clicked, gives you random rewards.
-Spiritflies: Rare spawn, spawns only on Lysday or Rounsday. Emits light. When moving trought it, depending on its colour (green = good, purple = bad) increases or decreases you Crew Morale. Also increases an invisible "Song" meter, that allows other events to spawn.
-Miner-o: Very rare spawn, spawns only when the "Song" level is higher than 9, 19 and 29. When clicked, has a chance to drop crafting materials. Its colour indicates which tier of materials it can give.
-Larval Bloodweaver: Rare spawn, only is able to appear when "Song" level is higher than 14. When you move trought it, damages the Crew of you actual Ship and steal some Food. If you have my "Individual Thirst and Hunger" mod installed, it also steals Bottles of Water, Individual Food rations and Barrels of Water.
-Mysterious Roots: Very rare spawn, appears only when "Song" level is higher than 49. Massive amalgam of otherworldy organic matter that blocks the way. A "Cleaner" flash is able to remove those.
-Mysterious Plant: Otherworldy parasit plant that deals both Crew damage and Hull damage to the actual ship when moving trought it. Can be used to teleport into "the Labrynth", an special zone in which you can find special Lost Tresaures and where the Heart of the Infestation resides. To succesfully complete the Labrynth, you must find and destroy this Heart.

@ Mafe

Will your sea stalkers mod conflict the sea monsters in the secret labyrinth?

That is all and thank you!

Did a few changes after the crash and, in theory, everything seems to be going well. Uploaded a patch with those.

Felt like an idiot because I couldnt use the Overworld Cannon lol

Turns out you can hold "1" to use it while moving.

if you're standing still infront of the roots and not moving you need to press "1" and then "T" so time can pass and activate the cannon.

"1" is my first ability keybind and "T" is my wait turn keybind

Hope this helps others

Welp, it took me longer than I would like to admit to debug the "overworld cannons", but the mechanic is now up and live, and working. It will allow to remove the roots or sea monsters in front of the player ship, with a cooldown of 300. For more info, the patchnotes of today.

Its a bit of intentional, since the player has tools to erase them with the "mini quest" item you get (it works with those too), but I can see from where the frustration comes from. If you wait 300-200 (its random between those 2 values) time units in the sea, it runs the triggers that "cleans" the sea from procGen stuff.

Still, I would like to add an option more, immediate for the player. I was experimenting with "real time" actions for ships while sailing and so far things worked decently well, so prehaps I will see into adding a "cannon" action that destroys treaths.

The mysterious roots can spawn after you go down a one-way river, potentially soft-locking the player. The spawn rate is a bit high, I've had two stacked next to each other, blocking off a the entrance to a channel after I'd gone down, forcing a reload.
