Description
Very lightweight mod that effectively doubles shortcut bar slots with quick individual swapping and configurable hotkeys



Features:
  • Adds a twin slot for each actionbar slot
  • All 8 slots can be individually swapped out for their twin via hotkeys
  • By default hold shift while pressing the corresponding actionbar key to swap
  • Keys are rebindable in the settings menu opened via the console command dc twinbar
  • Doubles number of slots on controller quick-select wheel as well for those who play with controllers

This mod will not include scaling as I have a very lightweight hotbar scaling mod that works perfectly fine with this, I recommend installing them together.

Compatibility:
Compatible with everything except similar actionbar mods obviously. Still compatible with building shortcut bar though!
Does not save to database and can be removed at any point - If removed, items on the alternate slots will just get transferred to the regular inventory.
This mod does not edit basegame files in any way
Hotkeys can always conflict ofc, but they are configurable in this mod

  • Inventory compactor (button that gets rid of empty slots in custom view inventory and benches)
  • Follower Remote (Lightweight mod that lets you instantly change your followers engagement settings (Passive / Guard Me / Aggressive) via hotkeys or the thrall radial menu without having to be close to them, also has a feature to make them switch to truncheons or use healing potions / bandages in their inventory)

Update policy
  • All my mods are made to be future-compatible with the latest version of the game and in the vast majority of the cases do NOT require updates when the game has an update.
    You can safely ignore any "outdated" warnings you might get from gportal or other services as those simply check the version number of the devkit used to create the mod (stored in a text file inside the mod) against that of the game, which is completely irrelevant in the case of mods that do not contain altered basegame files.

  • I will update my mods on my terms and my terms alone. If you don't like my update schedule, don't use the mods.

  • Mismatch errors are not the fault of mod creators. If you need help understanding this concept, visit the discord.

Thing is, it doesn't actually modify a hotbar, it's 100% not caused by this mod, I'm actively using it and never had anything like that happen.

Troubleshoot your mods, the first step is to make a backup of your save file and try it with just this one mod.. if you can reproduce it with no other mods loaded, then submit a bug report in discord with the steps you took to reproduce it and attach any logs / save files needed.

I've seen reports that potentially VAM might cause something like this, but can't confirm as I don't use that mod so in case you are, you're going to have to try disabling that at least

I still have the bug where the weapon disappears from the 1st slot of the hotbar, it only happens to me with this mod and when I remove it the bug goes away, I don't know if it's a conflict with another mod since this is the only one that modifies the hotbar but when I remove it the bug goes away, I hope to find a solution to this bug and I've had it for more than a year and I don't have a solution.

I'd like to know if it's possible to keybind MouseWheel UP and Down ? It won't let me, but maybe there's somewhere else I can edit it? I have slot 1 and 2 as MWU&D.

I have a problem when entering servers with this mod, my first weapon disappears, I don't know if it has to do with the order

@peace How does one... kill.. items? :P I've been using it for 2 years now and so far all of my items are alive and happy, including the legendary ones. None of them are even in a hospital or anything :)

If you have an actual bug to report that can be reproduced with just this mod, then by all means use the discord to report it and I will look into it, heck, I'll even try to help if it's unrelated to my mod. But please refrain from silly baseless accusations that contain no actual information. Thanks.

This mod kills items and it does do care if they are legendary.

Fair enough, after all it's not your concern to make the mod cooperate with any other mod. Still, Tot HUD is pretty popular, so I hope you'll review it again in the future maybe.
