Possibly? It mostly just fixes the one NPC Dialogue Package (screenshot/description for more detail) but for a handful of NPCs that were missing it. Some are from UWE.
I think if you don't use UWE, it should still work, but you'll get a "Missing Mods" message and maybe some log spams. Feel free to open this mod in the "Forgotten Construction Set" (mod tools) and remove the UWE references, which should also remove the Missing Mods message, etc. You can also upload it should you want to do this.
Hey bro!
Glad you're using and having fun with the Roleplaying Collection!
If you remove both mods, it will get rid of the whole "Sparring" portion of the mod, but it will fix the issue you're talking about.

Certain NPCs (generic types mainly) from UWE sometimes do not have "dialogue packages". This causes the above error to appear if it doesn't hook properly into the dialogue system. Some specific NPCs were fixed with this patch (such as Cat, and a few other recruitable NPCs).
I believe UWE will update relatively soon which will *probably* fix a lot of small issues like this (and a lot of other UWE specific stuff, making a lot of patches probably not needed anymore).
If I remove Sparring Partners completely with this patch as well will it fix the problem?
I might need to just look at all NPCs then, it seems like most of the main NPCs I run into (Hamut, Chad, etc) work fine, although some other NPCs might also have the same dialogue thing.
Thank you for letting me know
I'll try and update this over the weekend to fix these characters as well (Empire Peasants, Drifters, etc. might also have inherited Player dialogues for whatever reason)
Didn't know Beep had a dialogue issue
Should be fixed later today.
