Trolley Kart UPDATED

Description
Firstly this was originally made by Spurgle and i have been given permission to update and keep it going as he no longer mods, (link to spurgles discord is on the original mod page) The original mod is Here

Tested and working on 1.26 All classnames are the same as the original mod

Trolley Kart
A build it yourself go-kart made from junk found in the world and crafted into this fun machine.

This is a fully functioning mod ready to roll out onto your server.
Types xml can be found in the info folder inside the mod.

Features
  • Custom Craftable Vehicle's.
  • Full damage system.
  • Head,Tail,Brake and Reverse lights.
  • Custom Engine Sounds.
  • Custom Horn sounds.
  • Tested and working on expansion.
  • Storage Attachments, teddy bear, waterproof bags and pouches.
  • Weapon slots, both slots accept both melee and rifles.
  • Road sign Armour.
  • CamoNet/Tarp slot and CamoNet/Tarp cover
  • Engine Vibration, Gearbox Rotation and animated lights
  • Hidden selection to allow other modders to create new textures/variants. On the kart and the road signs
  • Includes Admin and Race trolley for events. its nearly indestructible and the player takes no damage when crashing in it.
  • Includes a black dry sack
  • Engine/chassis can be repaired with Pipe wrench/Epoxy
  • Fully Electric E Kart variant!
  • Custom HUD

Crafting
For the Trolley Kart
  1. Find Trolley, Seat, Generator, MetalWire and a Wrench in the world.
  2. Craft the Generator with the Wrench to get an Engine and Fuel Tank.
  3. Attach Seat, Engine, Fuel Tank and MetalWire to the Trolley.
  4. Craft the complete Trolley junk pile with Wrench into the base Trolley Kart.
  5. Find and attach Wheels, Car Battery, Sparkplug and Headlight Bulbs and have fun.
For the Trolley E Kart
  1. Find Trolley, Seat, Generator, MetalWire, Car Battery Charger and a Wrench in the world.
  2. Craft the Generator with the Wrench to get the Motor.
  3. Attach Seat, Motor, Car Battery Charger and MetalWire to the Trolley.
  4. Craft the complete Trolley junk pile with Wrench into the base Trolley E Kart.
  5. Find and attach Wheels, Truck Battery and Headlight Bulbs and have fun.

Attachments
Teddy Bear
Plate Carrier Pouches
2x Dry Sacks
2x Weapon slots (should accept all items that can go on a players shoulder.)
2x Custom road sign armour
CamoNet/Tarp

The Camonet/Tarp has one slot in the gui for storage and a 2nd slot for the Camonet/Tarp cover you can only attach to by holding it in hands and looking at the front of the trolley. and you can only remove the Camonet/Tarp cover by looking in the same spot. See the attached video above on how this works if you have any issues.

Known issue/bugs
Rifle attachments dont display on attached rifles (scopes ect this is a dayz limitation with vehicles).
Custom huds do not work when paired with expansion.
conflict with MedicalAttensionUpdated please use the fix linked below in the Addons section.

Override Mods
If you want to have more inventory space in the Karts then here is a override to do that:

and if you think the Karts are too fast then you can use this override:

Feedback
If for any reason you don't like a mod and feel the need to give a negative rating, that's fine I cant please everyone and it would be stupid to believe i could but I would ask that if you give a negative rating... comment what was wrong.
You don't have to flat out say I gave a negative rating this was why (unless you want to.), but just comment and say I feel X is an issue it would be better if X was changed to Y.....
I'm not saying every change will be implemented but who knows maybe I just didn't think about it when making the mod. that way the mod can be improved.
Who knows it might not even be the mods fault it could be a conflict with another mod.. I cant test them all

This is a great mod. I need some assistance as when trying to craft the trolley kart I add in all the required parts but there is no option to build kart with wrench in my hands. I can craft the e kart no problem just not the regular one. Hope someone can tell me if there is some trick I dont know?

Nice job on the patch - I overrode sizes for the kart base etc so players can get them back to base (no other vehicles on server), and having items attach was always a problem.

I cannot attach the small drysack bag to the trolley either, not sure which mod is conflicting with it, I use dayz expansion.

worked fine last time i tested could be a conflict with another mod or not the right bag being attached (not the backpack variant of the drysack

i cant attach a Drybag to the attachment slots of either cart. do i need to do something specific?

Well Wilma Fingerdoo.... I was going to rate this 5 starts but I can't figure out to give something a rating. So I gave it a thumbs up and an award thingy. Fast as hell and fun as hell. Now I just wish I could do the helicopter kart mod thing without the other mods.

Thats fine, if you are copying into your types.xml then its correct, you dont need to worry about the header etc (basically the first line of the types file) i normally dont add the extra bits like header, <types> and </types> parts because if you copy those into your existing types it breaks it as there should only be one of each in the file so i leave them out as i know most people will be copying it all. Glad you are making progress, one little error and it can break the whole file lol
