♥♥♥♥ you, and ♥♥♥♥ your """Gmod Realism!""" I'm bouta present to you: Cartoonify Garry's Mod! The most r'arded, absurd, ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ collection this side of the sandbox! Reject realism, embrace the silly!

Cartoonify Garry's Mod is a direct response to the endless tide of collections and add-ons that attempt to make this game where you can make G-man have a smile larger than his skull "realistic." The goal is simple: Make messing around in sandbox as fun as possible by enhancing atmosphere, creating an immersive first-person experience, and the addition of new visual and audio effects. As you should expect by now, I had a few priorities that I followed whilst making this (In-order of importance):

• Games like Goat Simulator were primary inspirations. I wanted to provide as many opportunities for hilarious and memorable moments as possible, and I believe that games such as Goat Simulator, POSTAL 2, and to a much lesser extent Amazing Frog? specialize in this. These games put you in a world that reacts to your shenanigans in fun ways, and let you have at it, and that's the gameplay Cartoonify wishes to recreate the most. Hence the inclusion of add-ons such as Background NPCs.
  
  
• Penalties are reduced as much as possible. Though you may get hounded by police or shot back at in self-defense: Death has almost no penalty in Cartoonify Garry's Mod. You respawn where you died, and you always keep your weapons. This, and other changes, were done to encourage experimentation and prevent unfun things such as death from ruining it.
  
• No new weapons, NPCs, etc. I generally prefer to leave these kinds of add-ons up to the player. The only reason gm_bigcity_improved is included is because it's the only map that all the add-ons included fully support. Though if you want my recommendation of weapon packs: Toybox Classics (Reworked) is damn near perfect for Cartoonify Garry's Mod.
  
• High degrees of customization. Though I generally try to do this for all of my collections, I particularly valued add-ons with many settings here, as I know that everyone will likely want a slightly different Cartoonify Garry's Mod experience.
  
• As long as the game don't crash, I don't care. Bugginess is permitted as long as it's stable enough. For example: I had to cut ChloeImpact recently in 2025 because in my testing the game would always crash after ChloeImpact got activated, which ruined the fun.
  
• Realism is not a priority. In-case I didn't make that clear already.

Be sure to take these priorities into account before hitting that 'Subscribe to all' button, though frankly you probably knew what you were getting into before even reading this.

For those who'd like to know what they're getting into, as you should, I did you the courtesy of listing everything this collection changes, and some of the add-ons you have to thank. Feel free to take a look, and decide for yourself what you like or don't like:

• Ultra-silly ragdoll fun. Players and NPCs alike can now both ragdoll, and with new and absurd ragdoll physics. Even the mere act of exploring has a whole new level of silly-billiness!
  
• Fun > consequences. Death has been replaced with ragdolling, fall damage has been removed, ammo is infinite, and more.
  
• New open-world activities. Wandering NPCs, vehicles, and even optional QUESTS (assuming you play on gm_bigcity improved)! All of these are present in-order to encourage organic chaos and fun, and make your worlds feel more alive.
  
• Motivation to interact with the world. Killing NPCs now drops money, which is necessary in order to place props via the spawn menu, meaning there is now a financial incentive to rampage!... Or you could just wait for your salary, either-or.
  
• Expressive NPC ambiance. NPCs will now speak their minds, and speak it loudly, and in 3D space. With over 5000+ lines, your world will feel... stupider than ever!
  
• New ridiculous movement options. Riding rockets and crossbow bolts, AR2 ball bouncing, and much worse.
  
• Slapstick combat. New cartoony gore. strange weapons, and more!
  
• New strange and hilarious effects. Boots remaining after an NPC gets bodied, heads exploding, cartoon text appearing above NPC's heads upon death, and more. Nothing like some cartoon violence!
  
• Cartoonification of sounds. New nostalgic music, whacky sound-effects, and even a live studio audience -- We've got it all!
  
• New optimization features. To help your computer cope with the more active world.
