Description
Just my personal tweaks to Shogun 2.
I uploaded it here so it's easy for my friends to install the mod.
And so you random people on Steam can use it too if you find it fun.

It mainly changes Fall of the Samurai right now, but I'm expanding Shogun 2, once I'm done working on Shogun 2 I'll work on RotS.
Here's some major Changes:
-Overhauled FotS naval combat.
-Rebalanced FotS artillery pieces.
-Range of all gun units has been increased because ain't no way a bow out-ranges a 19th century rifle. (Tell me if I'm missing any guns in the base game or FotS)
-Republican units have been buffed to make it a bit easier to go republic
-Range of bows and matchlocks in naval battles now match the range of bows and matchlocks in land battles
-Marines, SIR Infantry and SIR Guard Infantry have bayonets and the Pike Square ability and an extra anti-cav bonus.
-Bamboo wall for FotS light infantry.
-Date Bulletproof Samurai more bulletproof.
-You can check the change logs for additional features.

-Is this mod finished?: Sorta? I'm not as actively working on it as I was but I do make some changes now and then still.
-Is this mod balanced?: Probably not.
-Is this mod compatible with other mods?: Probably not, but you can try.
-Good job on the mod!: I basically copied a bunch of mods, personalized them a bit, and put them together. So don't credit me, credit the mods and stuff listed below in the credits.

I was inspired by a lot of mods and also copied a lot of mods so don't give me credit for anything in this mod.
(Other than the FotS naval combat, I came up with that horribly unbalanced overhaul completely on my own.
And even though it's horrible, I am REALLY proud of it. I think it's what I've spent the most time on in the mod.)


You're allowed to modify or use this mod in your own mod.

In the patch I did so, increased their stats slightly, not much but it is they are somewhat noticeable.

and after the ammo fix, the superiority only manifests in lower cost and upkeep.
nothing else about them is stronger than the generic kisho ninja, so maybe you can add something to make them "superior".

I'm gonna fix the ninjas right now, thanks. As for the matchlock samurai, I'll probably look at that later. Thanks for bringing it up.

it's the things that they don't want to add in the unofficial patch lite version because the author thinks that it is "balance".

they are supposed to have superior ninjas, yet their kisho ninjas have 2 ammos instead of 11 of the generic one.

I also wanted to bring your attention to otomo matchlock samurai, worse than terco but with more prerequisites.

I don't like the solution of jaki's unique factions that just increased their range to 150, whereas tercos were still 100 or 125.
their matchlocks should not have longer range since they just bought the same gun from the portugese.

Also one last thing, I'll get back to editing this once I finish Ultimate Admiral: Age of Sail (So like about 60 hours more of gameplay probably). I feel like implementing WESTERN rocket artillery someway (not the wood rocket launchers, those are traditional weapons), should I make it so that instead of firing shells, naval bombardments fire rockets? It's not historically accurate for the war (none of my mod is), but it'd be cool as hell and some wars saw use of naval rocket bombardments.
