Warband Mods Compilation

Description
(Updated to 6.0)
This is a single compilation pack to add warband upgrade to many popular mods on workshop, as well as some highly requested non-lore upgrade for vanilla units.

See supported mod list for details.

Sometimes, the added upgrade are in a separate tab from the vanilla units. Make sure to check out other upgrade tabs for available upgrade!


Compatibility:
Should be compatible with most mods, save-game, and coop. Not compatible with radious warband right now.

Requires both the warband ultimate mod, and the UI framework (which provides and prioritize customized UI tabs).

It does not require any other mod --- but of course, the extra upgrade option is only visible when having some supported mods.

Questions:
Many common questions on warband upgrade are already answered here, e.g., yes AI does upgrade; and simply re-sub if you encounter coop de-sync.

Q: Why a single pack?
A: A single pack is always more convenient for players, and allow us for easier maintenance going forward. It also adds opportunity to allow upgrades among mods, additional cross-race, etc.

Q: Why the UI framework is separate?
A: Because the UI file needs to be named at the highest priority, so the UI tabs are always visible no matter what other warband mods you have.

Q: The level requirement is too high / too low for some upgrades!
A: Please report the detail & we will adjust based on campaign balance.

Q: Will you add warband support to xxx mod?
A: Feel free to suggest any mod to us in comment or discord[discord.gg]. While there is no guarantee, we will look into the mod popularity & whether a team-member has interests to add it.

Q: I am a modder, and would like to: contribute to certain mods, re-design some upgrade option, ask for a separate UI tab for my own mod, integrate the upgrade into my own mod, etc.

I'll look into Yin-Yin. It sounds like the The Golden Heron should be removed as an upgrade if it is a temporary unit or perhaps I can find the non-summon unit key. As for the structure of upgrades, I'll see if it is worth changing.

@Bearnaked I just checked and it still seems to work with Araby.
Another yin-yin related request, can you add the base form units to the warband tree? I never would have figured out that jade warriors become jungle fighters if I wasn't curious if they could become rhonin, and I was wondering how you got them seeing how none of the jade crossbows become them. A lot of choices seem very odd and clarification by having the base units on the bottom like the original warriors of chaos tree would be very helpful. Like how the stand alone warband upgrade system for yin-yin does.

I found a problem with this mechanic and how it is implemented with the Air Ships from Yin-Yin the Sea Dragon. When you upgrade from the Sky Junks to The Golden Herons it makes the unit spawn as a temporary unit(which looks like it is the same way it spawns when Yin-Yin calls it into the fight from her skill). The problem is now that if you upgrade to these ships you will have the unit with the debuff of Decay that will make the unit die as the system recognize is as a "temporal unit" or a "summon unit" while it is not.

Does this mod allow for High Elf Archers to be leveled up into Sisters of Avelorn?
