Details Matter: Faction and Unit Re-colour

Description
Greetings fellow Total War players!

This submod mod aims to either change certain units faction colouring to match a look that fits more with the faction or just units seen in trailers. The idea came about from watching the Chaos Dwarf announcement trailer and seeing the Hob Goblins in their red and yellow clothes. But in the game itself, they did not have this visual.

There are also other faction colours that I do not really agree with that has been changed. But I am not trying to keep this lore friendly, so keep that in mind.

See the details for more information.

What does this mod do?

• An overhaul of Hobgoblin units for the 3 main factions to give the units some more unique and interesting color schemes based on the trailer and some personal edits that I felt fit with the faction.
• Changes the colours for Astragoths faction to be black and red.
• Changes the colours for Kislev Boris faction to be Blue and Red, matches better with Boris
• Changes the colours for the High Elf Eataine faction to how they looked in WH2, more normal blue and red.
• Adds more colour varriety to Dwarf factions, with some new colour patterns for their shields and uniforms.

How compatible is the mod?

• Should be fully save-game compatible
• Should work even when the game is updated
• Should be compatible with mods that adds new units that are using the same texture files, just make sure this mod is higher up in the load order.

Any known bugs or issues?

• None that I am aware off, so please report bugs in the comments.

Are you a modder yourself?

If you want to use these textures for your own mod, then you are free to do so.

Is this part of the Details Matter Collection?

No, the collection is the major alteration mods in the series. This is more of an optional extra mod.

I never found a Mod that made me like the look of the High Elves in this game, there just were too many really good Reskins in Warhammer II. However, this just became my favorite. And it's a blast, since it works with pretty much any reskin you throw at it. Love the work mate, thank you :)

Thank you for this mod man! I was looking for something simpler than all the other recolours to not dramatically change the game, and this is perfect!

I will release an update for this soon that includes some major colour changes for Dwarfs. Just ironing out some minor issues. Expect the update sometime this week.

Thanks. Looking forward to your changes to dwarves, they can feel monotone.

I will look into it.

I am currently working on an update that does some major changes to Dwarfs, adding some more variety as they seem to never use secondary faction colors. I am also changing their faction colors to look a bit more grounded and perhaps a bit more in line with the lore.

Can you have a look at the tree spirit colours of Durthu's faction? The green on them is at odds with the textures.
