For anyone planning on uploading custom characters, you have to edit the lines in the character file to reflect the author name and mod name on steam, not the mod folder name in your uploader directory..
I thought I had to point it to the asset directories in the mod, but for a custom asset line you just have to put "Custom/[Author]-[Steam Mod Name]/asset.png",
So for example the line that makes the Hooters logo show up as a body pattern is:
"Custom/Ophidic-Fast Food Character Pack/Hooters1.png",
Anyway, it's been a bit of a process but now I can go back and update the other characters so they work as well.
Thanks again for everyone's patience and hopefully you guys have some fun with this.
In addition I realized I made the same mistake on the Jack Black CAW, no now his assets should auto assign themselves.
Most of the other caws I uploaded before I realized I had to edit the character files to make the assets auto assign, so unfortunately those are still DIY a little bit, but when I got time I should go through all of them and make them a little more user friendly.
Hope it works and you have fun!
