Selective Bioregeneration

Description
Overview
Are you tired of putting your mangled pawns over and over through the lengthy and expencive bioregeneration cycle in hopes of finally fixing that one consciousness reducing neck scar? Don't you think that the veterans of the Rim deserve better? Or that a machine that uses mechanites to heal people at the cellular level should have an options menu? Well fear no longer! With this mod software update, you will be able to tell your biosculpter pod which one of the user's conditions it should heal!

Features
  • When choosing the medic or bioregeneration cycle for a pawn in a biosculpter pod, you will be asked to choose one of the health conditions it would normally heal one of at random. Said condition will then be healed when the cycle concludes, along with the ones it would heal unconditionally.
  • The choice menu now also shows the conditions which will be healed by the cycle no matter what.

Compatibity
Now compatible with Biosculpter Pod and Neural Supercharger Variations.
Should be fully compatible with Faster Biosculpter Pod, Death Rattle - Biosculpter Patch, and Animal Biosculpter. Please report any errors or incompatibilities you might encounter.

**If you're getting the 1.5 file**

In RimSort's troubleshooting tab, click the buttons that say "Clear Download Cache" and "Verify game integrity" in that order.

You can also do this through Steam itself, but RimSort has them easy to find. This should work with any mod having this issue, its worked twice before for me.

I'm using RimSort and somehow Steam is still downloading the wrong version, something is wrong on Steam's end, the about file is missing the 1.6 tag

I'll also add whatever small weight my voice carries to the suggestion that people adopt RimSort over RimPy. RimSort is open source and actively developed, while RimPy is a closed project that is dead and abandoned.

One thing that people need to be aware of is that in some cases, even when both the mod author and their subscribers have done everything right, Steam is still screwing up.

In this case, I can confirm (at least for me, and likely some others) that subscribing to this mod downloads an old version, because Steam is being stupid. It's also happened with two other mods I subbed to while rebuilding my modlist for 1.6. No amount of unsubscribing and resubscribing would fix it.

The only solution when this happens is to use the "Verify integrity of game files" option in the properties of the RimWorld Steam library entry. In each of the three instances of this particular problem I've encountered, it was the only way to resolve it. And yes, it sucks because it has to redownload ALL your mods when you use that option.

This mod works on 1.6. I wasn't doubting it, but I re-checked anyway and it does. Look at this page. It says that the mod is compatible with 1.6, and it gets the version data from the About.xml file. If your mod manager is complaining about version compatibility, but the Workshop page says that it's supposed to work, then you trust the Workshop and redownload the mod.

@nnccmm
1) Redownload the mod.
2) Use RimSort. RimPy is a dead project.

@Samuel_Bucher you are getting these inquiries because your mod does not list itself as 1.6 compatible. rimpy throws an error.

Check LoadFolders.xml. Also, did you even bother to check if the mod works in 1.6?
TrenchFoot_Tony 13 Jul @ 9:36am
it says it's 1.6 compatible, but does not contain a 1.6 folder? I cleared all my mods so it's just this and harmony. Is this a mod thing, or do I need to trouble shoot my side of things?

Yes.
