[WOTC] Militia Visual Overhaul

Description
Don't use this with either of the original mods, this is a standalone new mod.

Mod Information:

This is a visual only version of Militia Overhauls I've released in the past, this provides very little in the way of gameplay changes and what little there are pretty much don't change anything in regards to performance you'd expect from vanilla Militia units.

All units function exactly like normal Militia, their character stats and weapon damage are exactly the same. This mod does not come with AI changes either.

Unit 1: The base game Militia who use Assault Rifles which are reskinned to be the TLP ARs. Unit 2: Vektor Rifle users to invoke a "farmers rifle" appearance. Unit 3: LMG users who only spawn in the late game. Unit 4: Resistance Mecs who have the same stats as all the rest so their just as squishy and weak in damage hence why I've given them the Autocannon weapon model. Their Micro Missile launcher is cosmetic only and can't use it due to lack of AI to do so. Mec's have 2 minor ability changes, robotic immunities (fire/poison/mental) and don't have the easy-to-hit tag that other Militia have since they can't take cover.

As for the outfits, every Militia of every tier can use all the outfits so looks are varied throughout the entire game.

The following looks going by screenshot:
The base game Militia outfits and one modded one from the Resistance Warrior DLC. Outfits inspired by the Base Security aka the Blueshirts from Xcom Enemy Within. The Xcom Enemy Unknown Pilot suit from the files of the Tactical Legacy Pack DLC, male only. Medic uniforms using the Xcom Legends: Bonesaw armor ported by Max.

Mod Install instructions and compatibility:
Make sure to install this mod after any of the required mods.
All the listed DLC as well as they are all hard requirements.

Yes that includes the Resistance Warrior DLC, you will crash without it unless you disable the uniforms in the mod's Content.ini file.

Compatibility with "Don't Pull the Trigger" is incorporated into the mod thanks to RustyDios but is not a required mod.
Don't Pull the Trigger.

To repeat, please don't use this with the original mods, this functionally serves as a replacement.

Issues:
None as of now.

I have fixed the conflict with Clean Soldier Generation.
Clean Soldier Generation .

Credits:
Thanks to many:

RustyDios for creating the compatibility with "Don't Pull the Trigger"

lago and Max for the new textures used for the Blue Shirt Old-World Kevlar armor, the latter for the Xcom Legends Bonesaw armor port.

Iridar for the Template Editor used to give the Militia Assault Rifle the TLP look.

Pavonis studio/James Karlson for creating the LW2 Resistance Mecs.

@Specimen I should have a fix for this, trying something different.

@Iichen93 even if you could use them, their full body meshes so you can't mix and match. (Aka everything from the neck down is just one torso-option that has the arms and legs attached)

No idea if you can change Militia alone with Appearance Manage but they don't wear "selectable armor" which is what AM is aimed towards.

Hums are this resistance cosmetic useable for my soldiers by the way?
And what if I use Appearance manager to change the militia in the first place?

They are still moving around yeah, just that they're T-posing when it's not their turn, then when it is their turn, there's a pause, then an abrupt action, be it movement or them firing.

I can potentially reverse the update (or rather that side of the update) if required.

Are they moving around? I flipped a toggle for them to be able to take cover which was my theory on why they stood still.

I could in theory give them their own AI independent of the base game Militia to see if this fixes problems.

Rephrasing my now deleted post to be a bit clearer. The T1 Mecs are T-posing for me. Their firing animation seems a bit janky as a result, along with a slight hang in the game prior to firing. They weren't doing that prior to the recent update that fixed the issue with them standing around like turrets and not moving.

@Ray

This is the only mod with the Resistance Medic, do you have the original Xcom Legends Bonesaw mod? Maybe that's having issues?
Deadput  [author] 13 Oct, 2024 @ 3:59pm
That means you don't have the Resistance Warrior DLC which is required.

it keeps saying dlc_0 is missing
